Who am I kidding that just happen?! I don't remember this being a thing in TI, maybe in side b but I could just be wrong. My memory is kinda spoty, I haven't read TI for a while now.
"DJ" " Zhang Jie" One bellowed and one of the mercs went in along with murder death kill holding his desert eagle.(so that's his name Jie, If I remember it correctly his suppose to be the guide but his also the leader and some how his both. Because of a screw up in the previous mission, now his kinda having an identity crisis but later he will help the MC get the leader previllage. To sum it up our team, yeah I'm in on it now... is in a major handy cap since we don't know the next movie and can't prepare for it.) Now back to the HIVE situatuon. I know for sure that as long as the AI of the place is ON, for now there's no serious danger. So all I need to do is keep up with One and the mercs or I get eliminated by the system.
As I step in the room after the female merc said it was clear, I over hear Matt talking to Zheng about the windows simulating the view of a busling metropolis. After watching Zheng trying to awkwardly shake Matts hand and him motioning to his hands cuffed. I saw the merc working on the elevator shake his head. I moved towards Zheng and Matt saying "Hope you guys work on your cardio 'cause we're taking the stairs" then I muttered so only they could hear "I knew it was a good Idea to not wear heels to work today." I just shrug at the odd looks they gave me. We'll tough crowd.
One turned to everyone, "Through the stairs, we must reach the bottom in ten minutes. Everyone follow." And there's the kicker.
Which bring as back to me coughing my lungs out and gasping for air. Jie crossing out the participant by saying " Two down " wasn't really helping. Even thou I can't remember any names of people close to me in my life, I certainly remember my self not liking running but I'm a good swimmer. So why am I panting like a dog now? Huh?! right not my body. Non the less its do or die time now and I'm falling behind the group. Damn it!! keep moving!! My legs were like lead and every breath I make is like steam rushing into my lungs, I'm losing the group in sight... I could hear at the back of my skull an imaginary beeping noise reminding me that death is when that beeping flat lines. Then with all the strength I could muster I took my next step.

Like breaking through an invisible wall of air draging me down. My breathing became stable, my body feeling lighter like shedding pounds of weight. I caught up with the group. Seeing I was right behind him the high school kid said " Good to have you back, thought we lost you back there." I gave him a smile saying " I was giving you a head start."
Now that I caught up with the group, I spot the mercs below the stairs. Heaving a sigh of relief for the stairs ordeal over and a chance to rest.
I sort of blacked out for a minute, because the next thing I see is Jie and the other merc coming back saying they found another route. Which means we're going to be seeing our first zombie soon and the hall where they keep the lickers.
One barked some orders and we ended up following behind them, while I stealthily manuver my self at the center of the group... where its safer.( Hey I'm not scared, I'm just ill equiped so... I pick the best vantage point at the moment.)
Finally, the mercs stopped in front of a metal door. They opened the door with a computer and cautiously moved in while holding onto their guns.This was a room with many metal cases. Anyone who watched the movie should know, inside those cases were Lickers. Once the central computer closed down, they would be a hundred times more dangerous than zombies. A mercenary looked at his computer, "Dining Hall B. That's what it says on the map."One walked over to him while Matt chimed in, "Maybe the corporation's keeping a few secrets down here."One looked at Matt without answering, "JD, Rain, and Jie keep the prisoner here and secure the exit."
After hearing that I eyed Jie thinking " I'm sure his going for the zombies in the area while the mercs are preoccupied." Then glasses girl went next to Jie and wispered somethings, she must be asking about changing the plot. Out on the side thou, Zheng was evesdropping on their conversasion, I could see that contemplative look on his face. This must be the moment where he hypothezed about side quests.
"Ok the rest follow me" One done with instructing his men , ordered for us to move on. We went through a labyrinth of doors and arrived at the control room. Of course the AI has gone haywire. This room could no longer control the whole laboratory. But this is where things will go to shyte.
