Kapitel 723: I Don't Want A Remuneration

Yan Jinyi was slightly stunned because she was really stumped by his question. 

Seeing her reaction, a dim glint flashed in Huo Xishen's dark pupils and he said, "Darling, you didn't even have a heart-to-heart talk with me, so you shouldn't come to blame me."

'This girl seems to be bubbly and unrestrained on the surface but she actually has trust issues, huh? It's hard for her to trust anyone, let alone let her guard down and give her heart to someone.'

He wanted to force her to come to terms with herself. 

Huo Xishen slowly got up and walked closer to Yan Jinyi, looking at her from above.

Her eyes were mesmerizing, like that of a feline.

He planted a kiss on her forehead with his thin lips before continuing, "Darling, don't do unto others what you don't want done unto you."

For the first time, Yan Jinyi began to panic while facing Huo Xishen.

She tilted her head to stare at the floor and said, "I-I was just kidding with you."
