"Do you want to surpass Yan Jinyi and stop living in her shadow?"

Despite feeling bewildered, Yao Xin soon smiled and said, "Why would I want to surpass Sister Jinyi? I like her a lot." 

Staring disdainfully at Yao Xin who was lying through her teeth, Zhuang Lijuan gibed, "I know you hate being treated as her shadow. I'll be frank with you, I hate her very much. As long as you work with me, I can help you kick Yan Jinyi out of the entertainment industry completely."

After a moment of silence, Yao Xin stopped pretending and admitted, "Yes, I think it's unfair that I'm treated as her substitute. Who are they to say that I resemble her? She's inferior to me in terms of education level and she's older than me too. How am I worse than her?" 

As she spoke, Yao Xin took out a cigarette from her bag and lit it up.
