Kapitel 17: exp points in bulk ..
after arriving in a small alley , I enhanced my sensor range with chakra. the town was a relatively big one as the area was several kilometers so I had to add my more more bloodline chakra to enhance the range more.
soon the whole town was covered inside my sensor range and I could see blurry figures for people who had not awakened their chakra and blue flames for people who had awakened it . the job to find shinobi was not hard because even though there was tens of thousands of people in this town , shinobi who had much greater chakra were easy to find .
I saw that the 16 rock shinobi who I had locked chara signature previously when I used my sensor range to cover the town for first time , were now separated into 3 groups .
I quickly formed a simple plan inside my mind and used shadow clone jutsu to create 2 shadow clones . they quickly appeared with a cloud of smoke and nodded at me and went away in difficult directions.
my plan was simple . me and my clones would tail one group each while I tailed the largest group of 1 jonin and 6 chunin who were hiding inside a hidden room in a tavern. we would hide in the nature using my S rank Nature stealth jutsu and observe the groups for a while to see if we could get any useful information from their conversations or actions . after that we could kill them and quickly store their bodies inside scrolls . simple plan but it was the best too .
" sam , make so that my stats don't appear any different from a normal civilian!! " my targets were hiding inside the town so it was necessary to take some precautions like this .
after it was done , I leisurely walked the town road wearing some cheap clothes. I had to admit that as expected from a commercial town , the business was good here . I started to make a plan to open some shops here in future too .
in minutes I arrived in front of the most biggest tavern in this town where the rock nin were hiding. it was highly possible that tavern owners were either threatened or were collaborators of rock village. so I made sure to remember to deal with them later .
I used my Nature Stealth Jutsu and merged with the wooden walls after finding that nobody was looking in my direction. the feeling was strange as I did not feel any different from when walking normally while I was slowly advancing towards the hidden room on the top most floor . this jutsu was seriously bad ass and my curiosity to learn more bad ass jutsu was triggered again .
I did not need to increase my speed by activating more more bloodline as I arrived in the room in less than a minute . there were shinobi sitting on the ground while wearing their battle attire. I guessed that they must have gotten ready for possible battle with jiraya. they could not hope to win anyway with their meager strength so why bother ?
the room was small and these shits all had serious expressions and did not talk about anything for a while now so I was getting both annoyed and bored . a few minutes ago information and experience of my clones was transmitted into my mind . they had successfully killed their groups easily while I had to endure boredom here .
finally I saw the jonin taking out a small scroll and my interest was piqued . that was a information scroll as the real information was being disguised by a genjutsu and small fire style jutsu to burn the scroll if not handled properly . I had no sharingan that could help me extract the information with little chakra and genjutsu nor I was a fan of torture . so the scroll was the best source of enemy information for me .
I saw some kind of coded language written on the scroll which i of course could not understand with a glance . so now i was hundred percent sure that this was vital piece of information. now there was no need to capture anyone alive for torture . so I emerged from the wall behind the jonin and slashed at his unguarded neck with a sharp kunai.
my stealth was flawless but jonin noticed my killing intent when i slashed . he was just not powerful enough to dodge the strike in time from such close range. i reflected inwardly and decided to practice some mental techniques to hide my intentions when I returned to the village. all high level shinobi practiced these techniques because their chances to successfully accomplish sneak attacks increased .
the chunin had not realised about the death of their supervisor because the jonin was still sitting in the same posture just with a kunai embedded at the back skull . I quickly killed them by making 5 shadow clones stealthily and using the same method with which i killed the jonin first. i did not want to battle with them in the small room because it would produce nice and destroy the room . i was not sure that tavern owner or employees were spies or not . so it was not a wise move to alert them .
i stored the bodies of chunins inside scrolls and started checking the body of jonin and the room for any more piece of information . there was no relative information , just some shinobi tools and supplies so I stored them inside my inventory because it was my loot.
I stored the body of jonin inside a scroll to and tossed the scrolls inside my inventory . I decided to leave the tavern after checking on the tavern staff and roam around the town to kill some time before returning and rejoining my group ...
fortunately the tavern staff was not guilty and just some were under the effects of genjutsu so I did not have to do interrogation and killing . i did not hesitate to kill enemies but it was not that i was a maniac who liked such things and more importantly civilians dont provide me exp points so there was no need for bloodshed.

I could not wait to check as 16 ninja , even though only one was jonin level still were worth many points .

I was satisfied as even though it was an increase of only 1550 points but it was still exp points in bulk ....
