Lucan kept reading his formation books. He had a formation in mind that he one day wanted to build but still didn't have the technical know-how to do so. He had begun to gather parts, like the stomach of the king frog.
He had already acquired some of the materials needed, but most of what he required was still unknown. From time to time, Lucan would take out a few sheets of parchment and make notes of certain pages in his formation books. He studied throughout the night.
The nine hells were a bit different from other realms with the fact that there was no difference between day and night. The days seemed to drag on without end. Those held captive found this unbearable, it was easy to lose track of time.
For Lucan it wasn't too bad. Sure, he was a captive, but he was not being tortured every waking moment. In fact, the low-level devils showed him a bit of respect since he was the property of Gilbuzz.
Villain creation contest!
If you think you have a good idea for a villain, leave a comment describing them. Feel free to include a name, class, race, and or backstory. They can be as complex or as simple as you would like. If you leave a comment and vote with a power stone, you will qualify. The contest will close on January fifteenth, the next day I will then post a few of the qualifiers in the comments. The ones who get the most likes from the readers will eventually show up in the story.
