Kapitel 69: World 3.23

"Let me see everything!"

Ru Xian clenched his jaw, trying to control his anger. His boiling blood rushed into his body, then his eyes squinted in anger when his father, Ru Zhen gave him a smirk.

"Your heart and mind didn't deserve that nightmare, my son...As your loving father, I am here to protect you" Ru Zhen bowed in front of Ru Xian to show his gratitude

"You shouldn't be doing this If I am your son! You stole everything from me, father! Even my precious memories with him" Ru Xian bowed, biting his lower lip in silent "Even my happiest memory with him" he added

Ru Zhen smiled, watching his son's weakness was amusing to him, the way the Prince clenched his fist beside his waist was a good sight to him. He then walked towards his tea table "My son, you rarely visit your father, your king..Can you please at least show me some manners?" he said, fixing the hem of his robe as he sat down

"Father!" Ru Xian snarled, letting his cold gazes meet his father's eyes

"Are you fighting back right now? I can ordered my soldiers to kill that lowlife" Ru Zhen said with a smile on his face but his voice was showing authority

The Prince, of course didn't want that to happen, he took the seat in front of his father while thinking that he was still his father's subordinate and his power was not enough.

Ru Zhen poured two tea cups, he gently blew the glass he would give to his son.

"At Least let's have some tea time together as father and son, yes?" Ru Zhen lightly pushed the one tea cup towards Ru Xian, he smirked when the Prince took it.

Ru Xian looked at the cup lid with a suspicious face but he didn't want to play the good son here, so without hesitations, he drank it all.

After a few minutes of silence between the two, Ru Xian's glaring eyes slowly became meek. His eyelids started to fall until darkness embraced him.

As Ru Xian emerged into his deep consciousness, he opened his eyes in a familiar disaster.

Fire was everywhere, people screaming in agony and loss. He was stunned when a palace guard ran towards him, Ru Xian closed his eyes, he used his arms to block his face, but the palace guard just passed through him without any physical touch.

It was hallucinations.

His chest tightened the moment he opened his eyes, two figures met his sight. Two little boys holding each other, one covered in blood and one who was carrying the other kid.

"Xian..I'm sorry, we can't play anymore"

"Please live for me…"

The child's last words struck Ru Xian's heart, an urge of raging pain occupied his body once more, the agony was crawling onto his system vividly.

The other child who was carrying his friend's dead body, murmured some words. His voice was shaking and he kept crying. He then laid the body down gently on the ground. Then he put his palms on the cold body. A glowing blue aura came out from him, blowing his hair gracefully and then a stone like core came out from him. The blue core in the air flew towards the other young boy, it straightly went inside his chest. Then a wind blew harder around them.

After that calamity, Ru Xian saw both of the kids laying on the ground, the other kid was him. He was weak that time but his hand holding his playmate's wrist was shown clearly, he smiled that time and whispered

"Let's find each other again...Xiao"

The Prince woke up, gasping for air. He was alone inside his room. He doesn't remember a single thing why he was already there. The last thing he remembered was he went straight to his father after finding out that his memories from the past were all erased.

Ru Xian stared into nothingness for a few minutes, enough to gather back his strength.

"It seems like you are now awaken from your nightmares...Xian"

A familiar voice greeted him, Hua Yi smiled at him. Ru Xian jolted from surprise, his heart suddenly pondered abnormally like it was going to burst out. "Where is he?!" he exclaimed, his hands squeezing Hua Yi's shoulders.

"He left the room the moment he woke up, but he left a note for you" Then Hua Yi pulled Ru Xian's palm, letting it receive the piece of paper with some words.

Ru Xian opened it and then he read the message.

"The birds are chirping happily in this place, the relaxing sound of your heart was warm"

The birds are indeed happy dancing with the sprouting bamboos, the place was always calm and relaxing. Heavy footsteps can be heard on the pathway, he had no time to watch how the wind blew away the aroma scent coming from the flowering trees. He was deafen from the singing birds above him.

Ru Xian dashed to his secret chamber, hoping that he was right deciphering Wuwu's last message. He was still carrying the piece of paper inside his palm. His robe was swaying in excitement and presentiment.

"Xiao Wu!!"

The door was slammed wide opened, the rushing wind entered it first. Ru Xian didn't waste a time, he dashed quickly to where Wuwu was always sitting, in the kitchen and he was not mistaken.

There was a familiar figure facing the window above, the sunlight penetrated the thin glass on it.

"You're finally here…" Wuwu turned around, facing Ru Xian with a smile.

Ru Xian froze when their eyes met, Wuwu's face glowed under the soft sunlight. The threads of his brown hair glow with it like a gold, his brown eyes shine through, availing him the likeness of an angel. Ru Xian's heart beat once more together with the butterflies inside his stomach.

Wuwu was indeed beautiful.

He was in so much daze that he didn't notice Wuwu sprang in front of him "What took you so long? I've been waiting here" he snorted

A jolt like electricity crawled inside Ru Xian's system, his body unconsciously moved towards Wuwu, pulling him into his embrace. He tightened the grip of his arms around the male's waist, leaning his head above his shoulders.

While Wuwu was stunned by what Ru Xian did, he still managed to hug the male back. Then a smile stretches his cheeks secretly.

'LOVE METER RAISED TO 90%'

{Is he being clingy right now?}

AUTHOR: You like it..

{H-Hey! Stop exposing me! I-I'm not!!}

AUTHOR: But your thoughts were sh---

{Shut up!}

Wuwu cleared his throat when the Author fell silent. "Why are you so clingy, Xian?" he asked

Ru Xian realized it and then their situation, so he immediately sprang away from Wuwu with his face red as cherry.

Wuwu grinned "Prince Ru, you can hold your temper but you can't hide the redness on your face" then he chuckled

The Prince pursues his lips "I came here b-because of y-your w-words! You lowlife! Don't y-you dare m-mock me!" he yelled but kept stuttering

Ru Xian was talking in his very authority voice when he noticed Wuwu's right arm, the male was hiding it from him. He was the Prince, he would notice even the small things. Ru Xian stepped forward to Wuwu's pace, scanning him. "Show me your right arm" he ordered

{Crap! He noticed!}

Wuwu flinched immediately, he quickly dashed towards the corner of the kitchen "W-Why do you want to see my right arm?" he asked, averting his gaze

"Then, Why are you hiding it in the first place?" Ru Xian asked with his mighty tone

Wuwu used his left hand instead to scratch the back of his head "I-It's not a big deal..hehehe" he smiled nervously

But Ru Xian was persistent, he will never slip it away, so quickly dashed towards Wuwu. The other male was nowhere to go since he was already cornered. Wuwu gulped the saliva from his throat when Ru Xian slammed both of his hands on the wall beside his shoulders "Let me see it…"his eyes were cold and sharp

"I-I t-told you, this is n-nothing!" Wuwu exclaimed in surprised

Ru Xian was strong enough to pin Wuwu's shoulder "I'm ordering you as the Prince of this kingdom! Show me your hand! Xiao Wu!" he exclaimed

Wuwu whined when he felt a gasp from the upper part of his right arm, it was now revealed to both of their eyes.

Ru Xian's eyes widened from surprise, he couldn't even comprehend the words he wanted to say. The sadness covered up his other emotions, leaving him speechless.

Wuwu lowered his head "Xian...I'm sorry" he mumbled

Ru Xian bit his lower lip, his eyes were still fixated on the other male's right arm. He can't take off his sight from Wuwu's fingers up to his elbows.

They both fell silent.

Group of tears wanted to swell up in Ru Xian's eyes, but he was holding it back. He didn't want to feel another pain anymore,

"Wuwu…" he paused before the cracking of his voice " You're not going to vanish, right?"
