Everything went back normal after that night. Bai Shijue continued tutoring Han Ning who continued showing great progress. He was very similar to young Han Min. He was serious and not wasting time to dilly-dally or fussing about anything, unlike Han Shun who often complained about stuff just to get Bai Gege's attention. 

So he was very satisfied with Han Ning's progress.

However, things wasn't the same with Han Min. The old disciple of Bai Shijue felt that his body was getting weaker each day, to the point that he couldn't wake up from the bed anymore.

He was officially bedridden after one year of Bai Shijue's stay. 

"M—Master Bai, I'm so sorry… I cannot cook or wash your robe anymore. My body…" Han Min wanted to at least kneeled in front of  Master Bai to show his servitude, but he was too old, his body wasn't as tough as it was used to be.
