Kapitel 88: Chapter: Death

Deandre's body hit the ground with a bloodied splash. A feeling of pain, sorrow, and anger ran through the room. No one could believe their eyes. Serenity cried like a child throwing a tantrum, while Layla and Anastasia remained quiet in horror.

Zane was the only one who was ready to take action. His hatred and anger were pushing him forward like fuel to a car. Zane met the eyes of Pluto once more. The only thought running through his head was to take the Anunnaki's life.

However, Zane wasn't completely blinded by rage. He knew that there was no way he could defeat Pluto in a head-on confrontation. It would take some sort of strategy to take down the Anunnaki.

"Zane! You look at me as if you could kill—"

Before Pluto could even finish his statement, Zane transformed half his body into Apocrypha form and slashed him across his face. Pluto quickly jumped back, gaining some needed distance between them. He had been caught off-guard by Zane's strike.
