Kapitel 494: Rumours

There is nothing as vexing as waking up from a deep sleep and not recalling what happened the day before. This is usually called a blackout after a night of partying a little too much. But for Qie Ranzhe this was more than a blackout. He had an approximately five months gap where he had zero memory of the shit he had done.

Everyone had been speaking in riddles to him about what happened so he left the company and went to his apartment a few blocks away. He was in such a hurry that he didn't bother using his driver. All the security officer guarding the underground parking saw was a black SUV speeding out of the parking area with his boss in the driver's seat.

His decision to go to his apartment was a wise one. If he went to his family home there was no guarantee his mother wouldn't disturb him. He took off his shoes at the door and put on his slippers.
