Kapitel 7: Magical Practice (I)

They sat there for a couple of minutes wondering if the reunion had been all part of their imagination but then they saw the items on the table beside their empty plate. They stood up and analized the objects that were gifted upon them by this mysterious dryad. It was a small bow made of white wood, it had some carvings in an unknown language, it was a gorgeous bow. They picked it up and found it was the perfect size for this body but they also realized not one arrow was in sight. Although they did find it odd, they moved on to the next object in the table. A small blade with runic carvings all along the blade and a leather handle which also perfectly fitted their small hand was the other gift.
After careful consideration they decided to leave the bow safe at the tree and only take the blade with them. As they only had some light clothes they ended up tying the small blade to their leg even though Ty believed that was very dangerous.
They also unanimously decided the best course of action would be to figure out magical sigils, summoning and most importantly, to control their magic. They had an unfair advantage where their body did not need rest but their minds did, that is why two of them would practice magic during the day and the other two at night, that way, each would get between 6 and 12 hours of magical practice and they would be ready to summon Nya in a very short time.
As they were able to control every single element, the most difficult decision was how to practice all the elements so they would not advance in a few but run behind in others. The body had to practice every element but the hardest part would be for them to get the hang of every element. Plus they also had to figure out how to practice the non-elemental magic as Nya didn't tell them anything about that.
In order to have the same control over each element, they decided it would be best for them to practice a different element each month, and that they themselves would not practice the same element at the same time as that would create an imbalance in the body's control.
◯I guess now the only thing left to decide is which element we will start with and who will practice during the day and who during the night◯
◇I want to start with fire, I have to at least control the flames by the end of the first month◇
๑If that is the case then you should practice during the day as we will camp at the tree at night and without control you could burn our shelter๑

๑Then you will go with Ace during the day while Ty and I sleep and rest, then we will keep guard while you two rest at night. I will start with light as it is one of the least destructive elements and it is safe to practice it here๑
۶I'll start with nature because what that lady did was awesome, also I feel we have only seen a nature summon before so it should be easier to move from nature to summoning, I doubt I'll advance a lot in a month but one can dream۶

Ty and Theo went to sleep in their own mental space while Ace and Trevor walked into the woods to start their training. As Ace moved the body forward, she concentrated her power on their right hand and a little flames came out, she used willed them to remain there and not grow bigger which was pretty demanding. On the other hand, literally, Trevor was concentrating his ice power, he only managed to lower the temperature of the surroundings a bit but it was enough for a thin mist to start forming around their left fist.
They walked for a few hours with each hand embedded with a different element and changing the one in charge of walking when they finally reached a riverside. They decided to rest here as they were starting to get a bit exhausted mentally. Whatever this body was it was not human as it did not require sleep, nor food and it apparently didn't get tired. Perhaps because of the abundant magical power it had due to the five consciousness residing inside.
They drank water from the river and they felt how the magical energy of water was added to their already abundant one. Most casters drank water or ate or slept in order to replenish their magical energy but with them it was not needed as they actually never drained their magical energies.
Caleb walked towards a branch in the floor and using a sharp rock they found, he cut the edges in a spear-like way. They used this weird shaped spear in order to hunt for some fishes in the river. After a few hours passed they each had two fish each.
Before heading back, Ace tried to cook their fish with her small flames. She ended up scorching two out of four and the other two they decided they would eat them raw as they were too precious for more experiments. They then made their way back to the tree as Theo and Ty were already eager to step out and start practicing magic and Ace and Trevor could not wait to get some sleep because the magical training was way harder than they thought.
Halfway through, night fell. Ace and Trevor immediately went to sleep. Caleb picked a flower bud in his left hand and was trying to make it bloom while a very dim light was coming out of his right hand. As it was dark and the only light source was the moon, he fell several times before reaching the tree. However, as his magical power was so huge, he healed from any wound right away.
When they arrived at the foot of the tree, there was a person coming down from the stairs with their white arch on their hand. As soon as they saw him, Caleb powered down and came stumbling out from the woods. They would not allow a stranger to take the gifts from the dryad but they doubted he would return it if they asked nicely. They would have to kill him.
