Kapitel 50: Hu Family's Love For Bai Chang

[POV Bai Chang]

-Inside Hu Residency Study Room-

Father Hu is walking across the room. His gait is steady but hurried. Occasionally he will spare a look to Qiang but immediately after his veins on his forehead would throb visibly.

(He surely seems upset with Qiang.)

While Mother Hu is sitting on an armchair. She frowned, as her sight oscillated from Qiang to Father Hu and back to Qiang.

To and fro.

The atmosphere in the study room is stifling because of the tension, that's in the air.

I take a deep breath in,

"Father, mother; I need to speak with you, alone …"

I looked towards Qiang, and am about to explain to him, when he speaks up, "I will go and look after Xiao Wei tonight."

After saying so, he leaves.

Father Hu raised his left eyebrow, as he witnesses this.

"Father, pardon my manners, as I wanted to speak to both of you in private."
