This book is highly annoying. MC acts like he’s twelve years old, but the author pretends he’s mature and steady and an ex-special forces member. So far, characters are typical and exceedingly one dimensional, the battles are boring, and the whole thing just feels like a generic cut and paste xianxia. Can not recommend.

(This is just a prediction and not what actually happens.👍) A traditional chinese story, Mc is a hundred year old talent and gets engaged to a pretty girl, he becomes a waste and the engagement is broken. He learns of this and “moves on”, his path to a idiotic mc starts as he offends everyone he meets even beings that can kill him with a finger due to his “cheat”. Later he becomes an super powerful mc and he magically accpets the ex fiance back into his life. I sincerely hope this does not turn out like what I described above. But It happens way too often.

Well of course just like any other novel out there, our mc 'suddenly' have found a cheat where he can devour martial spirits. So it is kinda cliche but If you are into stories like this, you could give it a try.

Typical “cultivation” novel even though it not called cultivation but it’s pretty much the same thing. Despite having a special force past life and has been brought countless times but that’s all pretty much superficial as MC pretty much just power punch people. Grappling , Choke holds, the various forms of locks and disarming techniques one would expect a military personnel from Earth is nowhere to be seen. MC follows the typical routine of Cheat falling from the sky and MC using cheat and insaine comprehension to power his way through problems. I had expected more when I saw Sepcial Force pastlife but unfortunately this seems to be another dud
