As Jon reached the top floor, he looked into his mobile, and found out that Lee had actually sent him a voicemail. He called him back, "I'll see you later, Lee" he said, and hung up. He was faced with the truth that Vivian must be the one behind the break in, he thought out loud, "What could be the reason behind this? Why would she do such a thing?" Vivian has been staying in the hotel for three months now, though she has an apartment in Lé Blanco and a unit in the Max Ford's. After the incident, she was not seen since. Alfred, one of his assistants, knocked on the door. "Sir, I have been informed that Miss Desmonde had just arrived." Jon thanked him, got up and went to the elevator to go back downstairs and see Vivian at the reception.

"So Catherine, how does it feel being in a relationship with one of the most eligible bachelors of the United States?", she asked her, her eyes as fierce as fire burning wood. "I… Am…." Cathy started to stammer. She wanted to say something but could not find the words to say. She was caught unguarded, as naive as she is, she did not know how to deliver the truth whilst protecting the feelings of an ex lover. "You are.." Vivian obviously wanted her to continue, but she couldn't, and so Vivian did it for her. "A receptionist, a rank and file employee, a high end slut dreaming of a fairy tale, happy ending," She was cut off when a guy came into the scene, it was Alex. "I am sorry ma'am, but I'm afraid you're mistaken." He extended his arm and touched Cathy's left shoulder, "my friend, Cathy is a decent woman. She works hard to pay her bills, and most of all she is not a slut." He smiled at Cathy, he was trying to defend her, but security came and so did Jon. "What is going on here?" he asked, a few seconds after coming out of the elevator. "Hey Jon," said Vivian, she walked towards him and tried to hug him, but he avoided her and came closer to Cathy. "Alex," he replied, "Yes sir?" "Take Catie to safety please, take her to my office. Stay with her until I get back," he ordered. He did not say a word to Cathy, but looked at her eyes with much affection in his. The two went, and as Jon was left with Vivian, he invited her out. "Please, Viv, Let us not make a scene here," he grabbed her by the arm and went to a cafe which was a block away, together with three of the security personnel. He took her to a spot that is hidden, and asked her to sit. "Have a seat, we've a lot to talk about" Vivian shrugged, "It has come to the attention of many that you are flirting with a young employee, is that even right?" Jon crossed his arms, he did not answer, but asked her back instead, "Is it even right to be roaming around someone else's house, late in the evening?" Vivian laughed a bit, "Ah, so now we're talking about what? Are you trying to divert the issue here, Jonathan?" Jon looked at the glass window at his left, the rays of the sun shining through and into the cafe. "No, Vivian," he paused for a bit, then continued, "I am trying to ask you if it is right to help someone break into someone else's property," he said calmly. Vivian was shocked, her eyes enlarged and her jaws dropped, not knowing what to say. "I am sure your father did not know that you drove his G63 onto Noughton's apartments in St. Vincent." He leaned forward, placed his elbows on top of the table, his face now closer to hers. "Or if he did, maybe he was not aware of you were about to do." Vivian got up, took her bag and said to him in a loud voice, "You know what, Jonathan, this is not what you think. You will regret spending your life with that Catherine, nonsense and," he cut her off. "A beautiful, innocent, honest and loving woman. I love her, Viv. I want to spend the rest of my life with her." she walked past him, to the door and got out. She walked her way back to the hotel, this time with tears in her eyes.
