And there, immediately a problem jumps into my eye. It's not the prices, they are outrageous but I can afford that since I got that bonus.
"This place has a wait list?"
""Obviously!""
Judging by Quinn and Cassidy's reaction, they knew about the wait time. I hate to disappoint them but the plan is to go next weekend, not in ten months.
"Oh, don't worry about the wait time. I can get you immediate access and VIP tickets any time. It's the least I can do after you agreed to take Valeria with you."

<Vespasian is the main figure behind that park and VR dungeons is a major share holder.>
Navi gives Melody an apologetic look. Can't we just tell them? Vespasian has a cover identity in this world, right?
Both my girls are curiously looking at Navi. Evidently they want to know how she can get those tickets. I'm also pretty sure that Cassidy is giving Navi puppy eyes.
"Fine, it's not a secret anyway. One of the companies main investors started that park as a side business. Our company holds some shares so we have access to VIP tickets."
"An investor? Lady Libra!"
Quinn immediately gets exited. It seems she really likes Libra. Vespasian will be jealous if he finds out.
"No, his name is Titus Goldilocks."
Not Vespasian? Actually, now that I think about it, that makes sense. Having the same name as a dungeon master is probably a bad idea. That actually makes Libra the weird one.
Hearing that name, Quinn seems bothered. Her lips move as she mumbles something about hair color. Then her eyes snap back to Navi.
"Is that a reference to emperor Vespasian?"
How the heck did she figure that out! And what reference is that?
Feeling the questioning gazes of everyone in the room, Quinn sighs and decides to explain her thought process.
"Emperor Vespasian or imperator Caesar Vespasianus Augustus was his name as an emperor. Before that, he was named Titus Flavius Vespasianus. Flavius is believed to be a derivative of flavus which roughly translates to blonde."
"And you got all that from a random name?"
"Titus isn't a common name nowadays. And yes, it just popped into my head. Teacher says we should try to recognize the genius in moments of sudden realization."
So that's one dungeon master with his cover blown wide apart. Navi doesn't seem bothered so it should be fine.
"Titus indeed sees his name as a reference to Vespasian, he's a real nerd when it comes to Ancient Rome."
"Is he on the AR forum? Wait… TTG… TiTus Goldilocks! Is his username TTG_NotARomanEmperor?"
Navi sighs and nods her head. I also want to release a long sigh. Vespasian had only told me that Quinn commented on one of his posts. Quinn is great but she comments on hundreds of posts every day. For her to remember his username they must have had more interactions since.
"I wish lady Libra was online as much as Mr. Goldilocks."
At the quiet complaint coming out of my daughter's mouth I halt. Did she just choose a lunatic who can't make any sense over a fellow Ancient Rome enthusiast? Quinn sees my shocked face and just shrugs.
"Mr. Goldilocks is fun to talk to but lady Libra is so intelligent, composed, mysterious, and wise! How could I not prefer her?!!"
I feel like Vespasian might decide to invade Libra's dungeon if this goes on. To avoid a war between two super dungeon masters because of my little Quinn, I better step in now.
"Quinn, don't forget that we are going to Mr. Goldilock's amusement park. He might not appreciate being compared to another investor."
"True… but if lady Libra has an amusement park too I'd rather go there!"
Note to self, Quinn really likes Libra.
"Quiiiinn! I don't want to go to another park! I want to see the dinosaurs!"
There are dinosaurs in an amusement park? Did Vespasian go nuts?
"Cassidy, since when are you so interested in dinosaurs?"
Melody seems less bothered by the presence of dinosaurs in an amusement park and focuses more on Cassidy's sudden interest in them. Cassidy never showed much of an interest in those fossils when we went to museums.
"You know mom, they are kind of cool. Especially when they are alive!"
"She wants to race a Tyrannosaurus Rex."
"Quiiiiinn! Don't tell them that! And call it T-Rex already, no one cares about the rest of it's name."
"I do care. Calling it by that abbreviation always reminds me of a T-bone steak. And while I find the thought of a T-bone steak chasing you amusing, it is unbecoming of a creature that has earned the title of king."
And there it is. Cassidy wants to have a race with a five ton monstrosity from the past and Quinn can't use normal abbreviated names because reasons I don't understand.
"So Navi, is this T-Rex racing a thing or did my daughter just plan to sneak into a cage and get herself killed."
"It's one of the attractions. People can choose a carnivorous dinosaurs and race it. The dinosaur has its own lane with a solid barrier between it and the runner. The only injuries that have happened so far are from people tripping or overdoing it."
That's reassuring.
"Then could I trouble you to get all of us a VIP-ticket for the coming weekend?"
"Of course, I'll get you tickets to the park, rooms for the night and a pass for the teleportation station."
""We are going this Saturday?!!!""
Right, the girls don't know about that yet. Well, they do now. I hope that they don't get too excited and lose focus during school tomorrow.
"Yes we are going this Saturday. Pack anything you need today, then you won't have to do it tomorrow."
Both girls run off in excitement and we are left in our seats. Navi also gets up and excuses herself. What a day it has been!
