Kapitel 579: The Innkeeper's Misunderstanding

The food came longer than expected. Gewen already felt very tired and sleepy. The cold temperature also didn't help. Slowly, his eyelids felt really heavy and he finally fell asleep.

When the innkeeper knocked, Gewen didn't hear him and couldn't open the door for him. So, the innkeeper invited himself in with the key he had. The man brought a bag with a jug of wine and some food with him. He put them neatly on the table and came to wake up Gewen.

"Milord... please, wake up... the food and wine you requested are here." The innkeeper took the candle from the table and approached the bed. He tugged the blanket to wake up the guest. "Milord... the food is ready."

When he saw Gewen from up close, the innkeeper was astounded. His brows furrowed in confusion. Was this the same guy? He wondered. Wasn't he an ugly man? He looked so dirty and disheveled earlier.
