Kapitel 33: FINALE
WALANG tiyak na hugis ang usok, walang tiyak na timbang. It's a collection of tiny solid, liquid and gas particles. Some smokes were dangerous, some were harmless. The smoke that was filling the floor was among the latter.
Nagambala ang usok nang magsimula ang prosisyon. Isang kulay brown na chihuahua na binihisan ng puti at pink na gown ang unang naglakad sa aisle. Napuno ng palakpakan at magiliw na tawanan ang simbahan. A woman wearing a beautiful white gown walked last. Nasa harap ang tingin nito, sa lalaking nakatayo sa dulo ng aisle. Ngumiti ito, kababakasan ng tensiyon at labis na kasiyahan ang anyo.
The ceremony started, the smoke swirled lazily on the floor. And then a voice boomed.
"You may now kiss your wife."
Humarap ang lalaki sa babae, iniangat ang belo. His eyes were full of love and admiration as he looked at her, his wife.
"You're so beautiful, Ember," bulong nito.
"And so are you, my beautiful phantom."
He laughed, grabbed her waist and kissed her like there's no tomorrow.
Kung may bibig ang usok, makikihiyaw ito sa mga bisita. Kung may mga kamay ang usok, papalakpak ito. Kung may puso ang usok, mararamdaman nito ang pag-ibig at kaligayahan na pumupuno sa paligid.
Alas, it was just a smoke. Sometimes it's harmless, sometimess it's dangerous.
But today, the smoke was beautiful and enchanting as it enfolded Lantis and Ember—the new Mister and Misis Arcanghel.
