"Were you eavesdropping on us?" Sarah asked Adam who stood at the doorstep of his room grinning.
"Yes" The man shamelessly responded, "I've been a third wheel on your dates for quite a while, you should get used to it by now." he added as he settled on the other couch, "I couldn't sleep, and the walls here are thin. Talk about luxury hotels, even the walls aren't soundproof."
"The walls are soundproof, you just left the door cracked open when you went in," Elias commented and Sarah rolled her eyes at him.
"Well, do you blame me? We're being chased down by some Black mafia guys who believe in "Tying up loose ends", do you think I'm gonna stay in a soundproofed room with no way of hearing if someone came in?" Adam exclaimed raising his hands indignantly.
Elias sighed shaking his head, while Sarah chuckled at Adam's antics. Adam grinned at them then leaned forward his face turning serious, "But, seriously, congrats man. I know you're gonna make that dumpster into a better place."
