Unfamiliar yet Familiar
How can a person identify that 'he' is himself?
It's my question to myself after waking up in another world. I don't remember who am I in the past or what experiences did I encounter but somehow I know that that I used to be 'someone' and this life is a new birth of me.
I, Ayanaki Rui, was born today as a baby girl in Yokohama, Japan. Mysteriously, I know that this world is derived from an anime, Bungo Stray Dogs, allowing me to figure out the story that's about to take place. This gives me a vague idea of doubting my own thoughts. Is my extra-knowledge true? If it is, what's the used of me knowing the so-called plot?

At the age of 3, Ayanaki Rui was able to confirm a lot of things. She was born under The Great War timeline were Japanese Military are trying to end their participation in the war. This was 14 years from the timeline of Season 1. 3 years after, Armed Detective Agency is now established for a year and Port Mafia is still under the leadership of the 1st Leader who is rumored to be ill.
She also in possession of the infamous Ability that she tried to hide from everyone. (Special Division for Unusual Powers will monitor or recruit any Gifted that has great potential or danger tendencies.)
Ability: [Blood and Bones] - An ability enabling her to create and manipulate an avatar formed under the rules and specification given. Avatars can only act under her mental control. The upper limit of this ability is unknown but the avatars created by this ability can't be 'erase' as it already forms its existence unless the avatar loses his/her life. "Dead" avatars can't be created again.
Aware of the benefits and dangers of her ability, Ayanaki Rui pretends to be non-gifted among the crowd. Because ability in itself awakes when young, it would be difficult to know if someone awakens unless he or she is specifically monitored. She's a special case who doesn't show abnormalities of realizing having an ability for her young age due to the benefit of having a mature mind.
Her family in this life can be considered non-existent. Her father was in the army during the war and unfortunately passed away. Her mother successfully gave birth to her but due to her innately weak body that further worsen after labor, she also followed a year after her birth.
Her parents were both orphans so there's no "elder" to take care of her after losing both of them. Ayanaki Rui, who was still a 1 year old child, was taken to an orphanage. Luckily, her mother properly arrange all their rightful inheritance including her father's military compensation to her. [1]
Life in the orphanage was quite good. This institution was very orderly and it doesn't lack supplies for children's basic needs. The number of orphans was also not that many. For Ayanaki Rui who lives in such a peaceful environment, it's hard to imagine the complexity hidden outside the eyes of "ordinary people".
Aware of the hidden dangers living here, her goal is to produce avatars that can protect her at the same time do the things that she's unable to do. As she grow older, she became aware of her innate inability to communicate. A newborn without experience should not have such thing so I can be conclude that it was probably from the previous "her".
Knowing the "story" that is about to take place, Ayanaki Rui is tempted to participate in the "plot". Her social phobia won't allow her to do so personally but her avatars are a different matter. She's reluctant to be a background character due to these knowledge and somehow she sense a deep love for the Bungo Stray Dogs World. This unexplained feeling was quite complicated for someone who doesn't even remember her past.

Ayanaki_Rui Hello, everyone! I'm a newbie writer who loves anime. I plan to write Fanfiction for several anime that I love and I started with Bungo Stray Dogs. As a newbie, my writing is still raw and flawed but please do follow my article if it suits your taste!
This chapter basically sumarize the current timeline and MC's situation to avoid confusion. By the way, this orphanage is different from the one where Nakajima Atsushi was in. Chapter 01 will be the real start!

Note: I plan to write character names under Japanese order (Surname first). MC's name is Ayanaki (Surname) Rui (First Name). I will do the same for future characters too.
[1] - I don't know much about Japanese Inheritance Rights but generally if there are processed papers, the easier it is to claim.
