The rest of the very short but seemingly long day of stretched out hours finally came to a close when the last red and orange rays that had managed to find a small crack in the dark clouds to add more color to the dull sky disappeared out of sight. A short day could effortlessly become drawn out, especially in Histoire's case when all she did throughout the afternoon was to lay in bed. The television could only offer entertainment for so long, and her lectures bore her so much that she turned off her laptop before she was even halfway done and placed it aside on her bedside table by the black journal she had been neglecting for months now.
