After finishing days worth of paperwork Aizza laid lazily on a sofa in her office burnt out as her droopy eyes start to fall closed. A loud knocking startled her back awake cause the goddess to have a mini heart attack, she fell on the floor.
"Come in," She said aloof as she tried to get herself together off the floor, a maid popped her head in "Miss Aizza, we have guests," the bashful looking maid said with a tumour in her voice.
"Give me a moment, let me get myself look somewhat presentable" Aizza grumbled slightly as she patted down her hair and gets most of the wrinkles out of her clothing. "Lead the way," she said with a monotone like voice. The maid scurried across the manor with Aizza following close behind scaring most of the house servant to death.
The look of the fugitive was present on Aizza face, bags laid under her eyes as her once bright-looking eyes turned dull from reading too much paperwork. Straightening her posture, the maid knocked on the door before a faint voice saying "come in" was heard.
Entering the room two Daoists sat in the room one old while the other a young man in his early twenties. The older one stood up and bow slightly forwards, Aizza did the same before she and the older gentlemen sat down on opposite sides.
"Sorry about my current state, how can I help you, gentlemen?" She spoke politely, the young man stayed quiet "We came to see the new mayor since our sect owns this area we came about the town profit" The older man stated.
Being a bit confused Aizza couldn't help but voice her thoughts "What is a sect?" The younger male had a mocking smile on his face as he slightly shakes trying to contain his laughter.
"It's a group of cultivators who help each other to get stronger, the stronger cultivators protect the weaker ones. Once a month we basically give the member's cultivation resources base on their rank in cultivation" The older male explained, Aizza nodded seriously.
"How much was the original fee for this town to be here?" Aizza asks this time trying to get to the point "The old mayor would give us 2 bricks of silver each month" He said politely.
Thinking about the price it was pretty low, so if she gave him a gold brick will she be able to buy this land off from the sect? she thought "Can I buy this land from your sect great Daoist?" She asks with a peaceful look on her face.
"How much will you be willing to offer the sect to get this land?" he asked it back as he had a thoughtful look "I will offer about ten gold bricks to buy the town and the surrounding land that close to this little town," Aizza said honestly, the youth next to the older man jaw drop to the floor hearing the price.
The older man stroke his chin in thought "I'll send a letter back to my sect leader to see if he would agree with your terms and the money" He aid after a few minutes ticked by.
Aizza nodded before picking up a bell from the table to ring it for assistance, a minute pass and the head butler walked in and bow to her and the important guest.
"How can I help you Miss Aizza?" he ask in a solemn tone "I want you to get the most trusted message we have here to message a letter to this man sect over here" She stated, her tone being dead serious.
He nodded as he pulled paper and a quill feather with ink out of his storage ring and gave it to the older man, letting him write down what was needed before handing them to the head butler. He bowed again before exiting the room leaving the three cultivators be.
"Why do you want to buy this land?" the younger cultivator said only to receive a harsh glare from his martial uncle "I want to expand this place and build, I want to give these Townfolks a better life you could say," Aizza said with a thoughtful expression.
The two men nodded before excusing themselves from the room, to head towards the guest chambers. Aizza sat there with a dazed look on her face wondering off into la-la land, a blue screen pop up saying 'Quest turn this town into a city and make the citizens stronger. Rewards ???
Looking at the new screen thinking, she was intrigued by the question marks. Aizza had been thinking there is no school in this small town to help teach the children so she thought she should build one.
It will help them to become stronger and they could get guidance when cultivating, She thought that she should also get a dragon vain to make the spirit qi stronger here.
Leaving the room she closed the screen that harassed her eyesight and focus on her current task on hand. She walked back into her office and took out her feather quill and a piece of paper 'Should we get a school built so the younger generations will have some understanding of the world and get an early start of cultivation?'
Taking some pins out of her desk drawer she went downstairs and head to the town square to post it on the board before walking back home to check up on the Naga and the soon-to-be death god.
Walking down large steps she headed towards the last room of the gloomy hallway, knocking on the door before entering she saw the naga reading out loud with a book in hand. "The human protected the naga with all of his strength for he owns the beast his very life-" noticing another present.
He stopped and put down the book while holding the egg close to his torso, relaxing the tiniest bit, he slumped his shoulder over as a gentle look enters his eyes. "How long will it take to hatch?" Shuksess asked out of curiosity "It should hatch next week I believe" Aizza said thoughtfully.
