Kapitel 116: Chapter 114 Memories of Naruto World 2: Sakumo Hatake
Sakumo Hatake, otherwise also known as Konoha's White Fang was a Jonin and a war general for the second shinobi world war. After his achievements during the war in Land of Wind against Sand Village, he was now deployed temporally in Land of Waves but most of all he wanted a break from all the bloodshed. Hokage's three disciples were deployed in Rain Village so there was no need for him to go there.
Here, he was walking near a wave to take a break when he heard a loud crying voice and saw a boy sobbing near a grave.
"Fwaaa huehuehue!" Boy was crying in a very unique manner and he cants help but chuckled silently.
Sakumo walked near the kid and asked in a kind voice, "Hey kid what are you doing here?" His accent was very kind similar to how he spoke to his son, Kakashi. The boy in front of him was of similar age as his son.
"Sob* I am playing Mario here. What do you think a kid is doing near his recently dead mother's grave. Sob* HWAAAAAA!" The boy said in a sarcastic tone then started to cry even louder.
Sakumo felt that boy was acting but he can't say that since he was looking like three years old. He smiled and sat beside the boy then noticed a Konoha Ninja headband on the boy's hand. "Hey kid, how did you get that headband?"
"Found in my house. UWAAA!" The kid answered then resumed his cry.
"Would he stop crying?"
"NOOO!"
"What do you mean no?"
"I am sad and very hungry! UWAAAA!"
Sakumo shook his head with a helpless smile then took out some rice balls that he reserved lunch. "You can stop crying. Look I have got something for you." Sakumo said showing kid rice balls.
The boy smiled changing the expression to 180° and took all rice balls away from Sakumo. "Thanks, old man!" The boy said with a bright smile and was ready to bite but stopped before asking, "These are not poisoned and you are not thinking of abducting me for all those horrible things, right?"
"Wha! No. I am Jonin from Leaf Village. I am a respectful man and have a child of your age." Sakumo justified himself hurriedly then saw the boy's smug face and a tick mark appeared on his face.
"Itadakimasu!" Boy clapped his hand and attacked rice balls devouring all of them in the blink of an eye not leaving a single grain of rice for frowning Sakumo.
Growl*
Not even a minute after, they heard a growled sound from boy who looked at Sakumo with his puppy blue eyes asking for more food.
"That for all with me. How about I treat food then we will leave for Konoha, my home village where you could live there. It's dangerous living alone." Sakumo said with a serious tone.
"So you are after abducting me. Kya!" The boy said like a little girl.
"Then suit yourself," Sakumo said walking away.
"Wait, old man!" The boy yelled then followed Sakumo.
When walking, Sakumo was looking at the boy with curiosity. He had blue eyes and back silky hair, wearing ragged clothes and holding a ninja headband. He then remembered that he never asked the boy's name. "Hey kid-"
"Stop calling 'hey kid'! Every time you say that I imagined a black man standing behind me naked saying "Hey kid, what ya doing nigga?"" Boy said.
'Wait, Blackman?' Sakumo though then asked, "Have you come across some Cloud Village ninjas?"
"Cloud what? Just treat me food and no question."
Sakumo smiled then asked, "So what is your name?"
"My name is Jeff." The boy said in a very small and funny tone.
"PFF!" Sakumo was about to burst into laughter but stopped. He couldn't believe that this kid was able to make him laugh.
"Ahem, sorry. My name is Yukio."
"Okay, Yukio-kun. My name is Sakumo Hatake." Sakumo introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you old man," Yukio said to Sakumo.
Sakumo shook his head then both of them walked to a tavern near the port to fill their bellies and then to depart to Land of Fire. Sakumo also hid all of his belonging related to ninja including Yukio's headband before entering the tavern.
After Yukio ate food worth more than 5 people and lighting Sakumo's wallet, he burped satisfied.
"How was the food?" Sakumo asked looking at his wallet which had money only for one trip to Konoha all thanks to Yukio.
"It was okay. There could be more improvements." Yukio replied like a professional judge.
A tick mark appeared on Sakumo's head then he asked, "So, do you know any kind of Jutsu or know anything?"
"Yes, I know one called Talk no Jutsu."
"What type of technique is that?"
"A good technique which enables me to eat food for free like just right now," Yukio said with a burp.
Sakumo shook his head but then decided to leave Land of Waves. Both of them left by boat and arrive at Land of Fire on the next day. Sakumo was also with his team and luckily they didn't encounter any enemy ninja along the way. Along the way, Sakumo also got familiar with Yukio and found out that he had the intelligence of an adult man.
They then entered the village through Sakumo's taking responsibility for Yukio. Sakumo's team left to report Hokage and Sakumo walked away with Yukio to leave him to the orphanage.
"Old man where are we?" Yukio asked.
"Orphanage."
"I know that but why we are here?"
"What do you mean by that? Of course, you will live here from now on."
Slowly tears appeared in Yukio's eyes as he leaped onto Sakumo's leg. "Sniff* Please old man, don't leave me here!" Yukio said with teary eyes.
"Hey, kid- Yukio-kun, calm down." Sakumo said with concern then patted Yukio's head before asking, "Why don't you want to live here?"
"This is the orphanage. I heard from my mom that people in Konoha are racist and discriminate a lot. Especially those eyes freaks who are full-fledged racial stereotypes. But most importantly toilets in orphanages are shit af. My life will be terrible." Yukio said.
Sakumo sighed. He didn't know what did 'racist' and 'shit af' meant but he knew that Yukio was probably talking about discrimination in Konoha and by 'eyes freaks', he would be meant Uchiha and Hyuga clan members who took too much pride in their abilities and bloodline.
"Then what do you want to do?" Sakumo asked.
"To live with you," Yukio replied.
"Hmm? But I am a shinobi and if you want to live with me, you have to train and become strong. It's wartime kid and I won't be able to protect you." Sakumo explained.
"I know. That's why I want you to train me to become strong and make me strongest Shinobu or whatever." Yukio replied wiping his tears.
"Haha, let's go then." Sakumo chuckled then extended his index finger towards Yukio.
"Umu," Yukio replied holding Sakumo's finger before walking towards Sakumo's house.
"By the way, I will be adopting you so call me otousan or ojisan," Sakumo said.
"Noice old man," Yukio replied with a bright smile.
Sakumo shook his head with a smile. From the time he spent with Yukio, he knew that his life will gonna be interesting and hoped that Yukio and Kakashi were able to live a happy life and support each other. That was the day that Yukio was successfully able to be adopted by one of Konoha's strongest Jonin.
