Kapitel 32: Chapter 32

Grayson slid his skates over his shoulder waiting while Ari tied the laces of her skates together. They had spent most of the morning skating together and into the afternoon, having lost track of time. He reached for her skates, once she was finished. “Here. I’ll carry them for you.”

Ari shook her head. “No. I have it.”

“Just be careful with the blades.” Grayson smiled. “You don’t want to get stabbed in the back.”

“Nope. I sure don’t. And I don’t think you do, either,” she joked. “I guess we should have put the guards on the blades.”

Grayson smiled. “Yes… well… I guess we’ll have to talk to the equipment manager about it when we get back.”

Grayson took her hand, feeling like a kid as they walked down the path headed toward the chalet as their bodyguards followed. Goofing around, she jumped on his back and he carried her to the front door. But when they walked in, Grayson froze... for sitting in the foyer waiting was his cousin, Marcus Pierce.
