Kapitel 104: The Trial Part 1

--The Nydisian King, The Castle, The King's Quarters--

For the better half of the past two days, Katherine had been confined to her room by Alexander, something Llewellyn agreed with.

Two days had gone by since Lucian had been in the dungeons, his trial will take place on the third day which is tomorrow.

Katherine unintentionally ignored the maids as they tidied her room and arranged her breakfast on the table, the appetite to eat was hardly there.

The sound of horses and carriages could be heard coming from outside. Katherine waited until most of the maids left before she stopped one of them, Lily, "Are there new visitors arriving?"

"Yes, the council sent for the circle of advisors and a small ground of citizens to witness the King's trial," Lily said as she wrapped the used towels and blankets slightly tighter around her arm.
