Vinay had told Lucas that he and Ella found a hybrid's body which was ripped apart in the forest when he called him a couple of minutes ago and Lucas assumed it was one of the hybrids that had been killed by those huge dogs Willard had summoned.

Nia nodded and began to drum her hands on the table in front of her as she kept looking around. Her eyes fell on a stainless steel bowl on a table on the far right of the room and she walked over to it.

"I need your blood," she said as she grabbed the bowl and turned to face Lucas who raised his brows at her. She walked over to him and Imani and he narrowed his eyes when she came to a stop in front of him, holding out the bowl, while Imani's eyes found Nikolay's again. This time he didn't look away after a couple of seconds and he gave her a charming smile that made her smile too.
