Kapitel 187: Immith (4)

There were at least fifteen hybrids surrounding them and none of them attacked. They just stood in the circle they had formed like they were waiting for something. They were only here for Nia but they were more than willing to kill anyone that wanted to prevent them from getting her.

Lucas' eyes zeroed in on the man that had knocked Nia down after she created a shield, making her lose her hold on it. He looked pretty smug and with his hands tucked in his pockets, he seemed untouchable and Lucas had an overwhelming urge to snap his neck.

Nia's eyes darted from one hybrid to another and her hands tightened into fists because she didn't recognize most of them. She could only come up with two reasons for that; either Immith has been creating more hybrids since she came back from the ancestral realm or she had hidden the hybrids Nia didn't recognize before Nia caught her centuries ago.
