"So a very old, back from the dead, angry, powerful witch wants to kill me for something I didn't do?" Vinay asked and Lucas nodded before the beta took a swing at him but he easily dodged it and quickly moved to the side. Vinay's great grandfather was also one of the people that killed Immith's descendants and Lucas assumed the witch wanted revenge on all the descendants of the werewolves that had done that.

"That would definitely be easy for her. I mean after what she did to you..." he trailed off, pressing his lips together, before Lucas shot him a dirty look because his pride was still wounded over that and he was still angry that he had failed to protect Imani.

They hadn't seen Immith since when she dropped by Imani's place yet but they knew she would show up soon because scores to settle with the descendants of the werewolves that killed her descendants.
