Kapitel 17: Low-key isnt for me
'Danzo isn't one to forget, and forgive. That being said I can guarantee that when he finds out I killed Mouse, and he will find out I'll be fucked. Nothing of much worth was in Mizu's memories unfortunately he was okayish with the academy taijutsu so I'm now okayish at it. The most useful information I've learned is that Danzo has a few meetings with Orochimaru on occasion. Mizu wasn't important enough to sit in on any meeting or closely observe any of Danzo's actions. So that avenue was a bust. However I do know that he will send another, better assassin after me soon. Which means if I can beat that one too I'll get even stronger. Now the issue is if I tell Kakashi or not. At this point I don't really benefit from being low-key. I tossed that out of the window when I decided Naruto was going to be my friend. So prodigious genius it is.'
Not much time had passed since Haruko began his spiral down into his anxiety's, and as such he had to decide what to do next. He had no clue where Kakashi was at this moment, but going to sleep felt like a dumb decision. Another avenue would be turning into Mouse, and arriving back at Root headquarters. While he could perfectly mimic mouse's action's, and had all his memories, the Idea didn't leave a good impression on Haruko.
'Maybe I should just go directly towards the hokage's office? The issue with that is I don't really want to tell Hiruzen as he may see me as a threat, and want me eliminated as well. Why does this shit need to be so complicated? I don't need to sleep fuck it, I can go weeks without it anyway.'
Decision made Haruko prepared to pull an all-nighter while chomping down on his carrots. Time crawled as he kept all his senses stretched to the max, His sharingan blazed as he partolled back, and fourth through the apartment. Briefly he had entered his room to change, and noticed his reflection was different. He had grown again, and there was a third tomoe in his eyes.
' Murder will do that to you huh? '
The vigilant night had passed, and the sun had risen. Nothing of note had occurred. No Anbu here to kill him, or capture him, or anything of the sort. He was safe for now. Haruko just needed to make it until the training where he could pull Kakashi aside, and explain the situation.
"Haruko, why are you up so early?" Naruto asked while whipping at his eyes.
"Last night was difficult." Haruko replied while plopping down upon the couch.
"Another bad dream, Haru?"
"No bud, well kinda. You could call what happened a nightmare."
"What happened? Are you okay?" Naruto voiced his concern. "I'm alright. Last night while I was out I was attacked."
"You look fine, was it those big kid's again?"
"It was a big kid, but not the civilian kids. A young man named Mizu. "
"You know his name?" Nauto cocked his head to the side in confusion.
"I know his whole life story. I know entirely too much about him."
"What do you mean?"
"Mizu tried to kill me last night, and almost did." Haruko held his head in his hands.
"What happened?"
"He stabbed me through my stomach, and nearly bled me to death. In a desperate move I went to punch him when my power turned on by itself. I stabbed him through the chest, and his body was sucked into mine before I lost consciousness. I then lived his whole life, and learned why he was trying to kill me. Elder Danzo is the leader of a division of Anbu called Root. He intended to have me killed so you would go on a rage, and he could convince Lord Third to take you into Root, and use you as a tool for his goals."
"Wha… what? An elder tried to kill you, just to upset me?"
"Yes, I saw the memory through Mizu's eyes. The worst of it is Danzo will try it again after he learns his mouse isn't coming back, and how Mizu died. I tried my best to remove all evidence, but now there's a playground with a burnt hole in it."
"Haruko… I'm sorry!"
"Why are you sorry? Dufus."
"They tried to kill you to hurt me! So it's my fault!" Tears began to well in Naruto's eyes as he spoke.
"Naruto, buddy, this isn't your fault. Danzo ordered my death to hurt you. You're a victim in this as well."
"St.. Still!"
"Chill out Naruto. I'm okay."
"But you had to kill somebody just to survive!"
"Yeah, and it's over now. I'm alive, and stronger for it. While I may have freaked out about it before, now that it's actually happened I'm holding up better than I thought I would. Death is an everyday part of life for us ninja's, it was a lesson I needed to learn. One you'll learn as well."
"I guess so, maybe?" Naruto had quit crying by this point, and his curiosity got the better of him. "Haruko, what happened when your power ate him?"
"I lived his life in superspeed, I learned all he knew, which wasn't very useful, I learned all his skills, and with time will have better mastery than him with them, and I learned a few jutsu's."
"What did you learn?"
"Multiple D rank jutsu. Only issue is I can't use them in this form."
"This form?"
Haruko stood up, and red tendrils spread all around his body before his height grew, and all his features completely changed.
"Transformation jutsu?"
"No Naruto, when my power assimilates somebody I gain all they had, Body, and mind."
Haruko did a little spin for him before turning back into himself.
"That's so cool!"
"Yeah… cool… Anyway I'm trying to figure out the next steps. Lord Third needs to know what Danzo is up to, but I'm worried if I tell him about my power's I'll end up dead by his order's."
"Gramps wouldn't do that!"
"Maybe, maybe not, but I'm not willing to take that chance. Kakashi is my best bet."
"Then we need to go get him!"
"And how do you plan to find him?"
"Call his name real loud?"
"Seriously?"
"Yeah! Watch!"
Naruto made his way to the window in our living room, opened it, and shouted.
"KAKASHI SENSEI! HARUKO SAID YOU SMELL LIKE WET DOG!"
"What the hell, Naruto?"
" What? It'll work! "
Kakashi sunshine in through the open window, and was about to slam a book down on my head before Naruto intervened.
"WAIT! Haruko didn't say that I just needed you to get here quickly."
"What do you need, Naruto? I was quite busy." Kakashi replied while putting away his book.
"Somebody tried to kill Haruko last night, and Haruko killed them back, and ate their brain, then he came back home, and stayed up all night because on old guy is trying to kill him so I get mad, and do something stupid so he can tell gramps that I need to be turned into a well behaved zombie for the village!"
"What the fuck Naruto!" Haruko shouted at Naruto.
"You were going to tell him anyway, I just sped it along, you take too long!"
"Haruko, is this true?"
"That was the short version but for the most part yes. A root ninja named Mouse, or Mizu attacked me late last night while I was at the park. After I tried to run away he engaged in a frontal battle with me, and ran me through with a blade."
Haruko paused for dramatic effect, and to let Kakashi absorb what he had said so far.
"Then my bloodline activated, he tried to block my punch, but the blade shot through his knee, and threw his chest, and spine. Now there is a second part to my bloodline I didn't tell you, I can assimilate things. Basically break them down at the smallest level, and bring them into me."

Balthizar_Blake Alright big reveal here. Also I've gotten my first hate review which feels uh terrible in all honesty. I know it's my first try at fanfiction but this dude eviserated me lmao.
