Kapitel 7: beacon missions and team rwby training
Vergil's dorm
Vergil pov
I log in to beacon guild page on my computer to look for some missions to do but all i see is trash rank f missions like escotring food to villages right in front of the city's walls or killing a small group of beowolfs. Well i guess that makes sense i'm only a rank one. But if i start spamming these small time quest i can start to up my rank faster so ill just accept all of these. Ill start with that transport food mission and i have an idea on ho to make it fast.
I leave my dorm and walk to team rwby's dorm. Knocking on the door waiting for some one to answer. Blake opens the door looking at me she smiles and shows me inside. I see their bunk beds looking unsafe as ever and i see yang sleeping, weiss studying, ruby doing some weapon upgrades while blake goes back to her book. I cough gathering everyones attention even yang wakes up.
Ruby: Oh vergil whats up!
Weiss: Yeah i was studying this better be importanat.
Yang and blake nod at that.
Vergil: Well i came to say im gunna be gone for a week or two.... 321 anddddd
RWBY: What!!!
Ruby: Vergil why are you leaving we still haven't hanged out by our selves i mean have fun with the team
WBY rolls their eyes.
Yang: But for real why are leaving?
Blake: Is it because of guild quests?
Weiss: Missions.
Blake: Both mean the same thing
she shrugs
Vergil: Yeah I'm gunna be doing alot non stop so i can rank up and get better missions and rewards maybe i can even break some time of record.
Ruby: Lucky you skip school and start missions so soon we still have 3 weeks till we can start.
Yang: Yeah i'd rather be bashing skulls than listening to ports life story.
Weiss: I hate to admit it but she's right his storys are terrible.
Blake and ruby nod
Vergil: Well im glad you said that maybe we can go a couple of mission when you can go on one but i want to ask you all something when i come back do you all want to train with me?
Ruby: YES!!! I mean it would be beneficial to team rwby.
Yang: Not to be rude but why i know your strong but your a swords man you can't really teach me much since i use my fist to do the talking?
Vergil: True but I can teach you aura transfer and how strengthen your self with aura and just sheilds I can show blake and weiss sword styles for them and ruby some special moves.
RWBY with wide eyes are staring at me.
Blake: Why go so far for us?
RWY look at me
Vergil: Well I like ruby and you guys are my friends and friends help each other out well thats all i wanted to say bye!
And i run out the room embarrassed that i just said that.
Ruby Pov
I just heard what vergil said and i freeze. My brian stopped working for a second until i finally understood what he meant. Wow vergil likes me do i like him? Who am i kidding i've liked him for weeks and we just keep coming closer, he's nice, funny, cute and kinda understands my weapon and cookie craves but before i can do something he runs away.
Yang wakes up from her stupor and laughs while blake and weiss look at me.
Yang: I knew he liked you sis see you gotta trust my yangstinct hahaha!
I, weiss and blake facepalm
Blake: On a serious note are you gunna say your obvious feelings.
Ruby: I want to but were both to embarresed for that so i think i'll wait till he says something again and yang tell uncle and dad nothing.
I glare at yang she puts her hand up nodding.
Yang: I'm Happy for you lil sis maybe vergil got an older brother or something cause he's too perfect that I want my own.
Ruby: Get your own man yang!
I then cover my mouth and run to my bed.
Weiss: At least he's not a dolt like jaune trying to court me every five minutes.
Blake nods and goes back to her book.
Vergil pov
Vergil: Well that happened, knowing ruby she will act like everything is normal till i can say it properly so i'll do that later for now mission time.
I accepted about 30 villiges food transport and 20 grimm exterminate missions and there all around each other guess i better get started. I walk to food storage and talk to the admissions lady.
Lady: Hello hunter what would you like?
Vergil: Yes hi i'm here to accept all the crates of food for food transport missions.
I pulled up my scroll and she reads the information a little shocked.
Lady: Um sir i think theres a mistake it says your taking 30 crates!
Vergil: No theres no mistake thats true.
Lady: But how would you transport that a bullhead can only hold a max of ten?
Vergil: Um i have a upgraded bullhead....
Lady looks at me strangley but sighs and give up. She makes me a form and i see a the guard pushes 30 crates to me.
Guard: Where do you want them?
I say wait and call the lotus. I see it coming haling a trailer I tell to load her up. I thank them and ride off into the city. when i make it far enough out of city walls i call jarvis.
Vergil: Bring the raza up for me jarvis.
Jarvis: Eta 10 seconds
While riding i hear and engine roar and feel winds pass me by. I look ahead while im riding and i see the raza slowing down a bit and lowering it cargo ramp i rev my engine and ride in once im fully locked in the cargo hold the ramp collapse in and cargo bay doors close. The Raza recloaks and speeds off to the first village. I get off the lotus and move to the cockpit. Robot arms grabs the lotus and puts it in the docking bay.
Vergil: Jarvis put parachutes on each crate and control the launch point for each crate, create a drop map starting from the nearest village to the farthest. But first set a course for the cliffside forest and drop me off. I'm going hunting.
Jarvis: Sir the maps been generated and we have an hour till we reach cliffside forest.
Vergil: I'll go to sleep than call me when were five minutes away.
Jarvis: Acknowledged
After making my way to my room i jump on my bed and miss how comfortable this is compared to my dorm.
Jarvis: 5 minutes away till eta sir.
Vegil: thank you jarvis.
I get up wash my face and run while putting on my coat and scarf since its snowing there. When i make it to the docking bay i see the lotus with spikes poking out of its tires for grip in the snow. I get on and put on my gloves scarf and goggles i attach yamato to the side.
Jarvis: Drop in 10 sir.
Vergil: Drop me!
The bay doors under me open and i feel the cold air on my skin I dont feel cold since im an air bender the scarf is for snow not to get in to my mouth. I aim Blue rose while free falling on the lotus and start to rapid fire the grimm under me when i get closer i summon my aura blades and fire them in a quick succession then too land softly i make an air barrier. The moment im on the ground my tires skid and i launch to the the grimm i unsheathe yamato and start slashing air blades while riding. Grimm blood paints the white snow black as i continue maneuvering through trees.
Time skip 2 weeks later
Ruby Pov
Im in Prof goodwitch's class watching jaune badly lose against cardin.
Cardin: This is where you lose.
Jaune: Over my dead-!!
Jaune is cut short as cardin knees him in the gut making him drop his sword and fall to the ground in pain. Cardin raises his mace about to end it when the bell rings and the lights turn back on and Goodwitch come up front.
Glynda: Cardin thats enough! Mr arc it's been weeks now. Please try to refer to your scroll during combat. Gauging your aura will help you decide when its appropriate to attack or when its better to use a better defensive strategy we dont want you eaten by a beowolf now do we.
Cardin: Speak for yourself.
Yang: I don't know he made it to beacon
Ruby: I can;t wait for the vytal festival!
Lunchroom
Nora So there we were in the middle of the night!!!
Ren: It was day.
Nora: We were surrounded by ursa...
Ren: They were beowolves.
Nora: Dozens of them
Ren: Two
Nora: But they were no match for us and in the end ren and i took them down and made a butt load of lien selling ursa skin rugs.
Ren:*sigh* shes been having this recurring dream for nearly a month now.
Ruby: When is vergil coming back sure he calls but its not the same?
Yang: You just miss your crush but on a serious note those training guides and video sends are really helpful.
Weiss: Your telling me i thought trying to stick leaves on my skin using aura was stupid but after a week my aura control has a 50% increase its crazy!
Blake: Dont forget aura transfer because of the leaf excerize i can coat one of my sword now it may be only one minute but its an improvement,
Pyrrha: Jaune are you okay?
Jaune: huh oh yeah im great!
Ruby: its just you seem a little...not okay....
Jaune: guys im fine really.
He holds a thumbs up while laughing nervously until he looks over and you hear cardin and his team obnoxious laughing.
Pyrrha: Cardin's been picking on you since the first week
Jaune: Who cardin nah he... just likes to mess with people you know practical jokes!
Ruby: He's a bully
Yang: He's an ass
Ruby: SWEAR JAR but yes he is.
Jaune: Oh please name one time he bullied me.
???: I can...
Vergil pov
Everyone turns around and sees vergil in his black uniform eating fried chicken.
RWBY/JNPR: Vergil?????
Ruby jumped on me and hugged me like a kola
Ruby: When did you get back?
Blake: Yeah you said you might spend another week out.
Before i can answer i try to get ruby off me but she refuses to let go so i just take her spot next her and make her sit on my lap she blushes but dosen't move off. I roll my eyes but hug her from the bake looking at blake who seems suprosed.
Vergil: I finshed my quest early cause a little rose woudnt stop annoying me.. Ouch!
Ruby was pinching my waste sticking her tongue out. I pat her head and feed her a cookie she instantly melts with my head pats and starts eating her cookies.
Vergil: Where was i oh yeah jaune bullying lets see oh yeah he stuffed you in a rocket loker a launched you out of school.
Jaune*trying to laugh it off* Oh please i didn't land that far.
Vergil: I was at emerald forest and you landed in front of me killing a king taijiu. You rode the back of my bike while i dropped you off and i stormed out.
Pyrrha: If you need help you can just ask.
Nora: OoooooH! we can break his legs.
Yang/vergil: I second that.
Jaune: Guys its really fine besides its like hes only a jerk to me he's a jerk to everyone.
Ren: Except vergil since he's scared of him.
I smile and we low five.
I hear cardin and his team laughing getting louder when i suddenly hear a girl crying out in pain, I turn to see cardin bulling a rabbit fanus ears. I start to get angry at that disgusting pig.
Rabbit girl: Ow! that hurts please stop.....
Cardin: I told you it was real!
Russel: What a freak!
Pyrrha: Atrocious! I can't stand people like him.
Blake:*glaring daggers at him* Your're not the only one.
Yang: It must hard being a fanus.
Vergil: Then why do you sit here and not do something about it.
Ruby: No well get in trouble and maybe kicked out
Blake lowers her head in shame knowing she's not doing anything.
Vergil: You guys are stupid this is a combat school you can literally challenge him to a duel and humiliate him or you could go and beat him up now and at worst get detention in this type of school you think no fights.
Everyone realizes that i'm right
I dont even get up i use my semblance and pick up carter making him float then like hulk v loki i slam him on the floor repeatedly when his team realize it me the try to charge at me but before they move there are aura blade at the necks they drop there weapons and give up when cardin is knocked out i stop and his team drag him to the nurse while glaring at me.
RWBY/JNPR are shocked and look at me. while i just hum a song and pats ruby hair smiling.
Ruby/Nora: THAT WAS AWESOME!!
Nora: But you should have broken his legs.
I shrug
Vergil: Maybe next time.
Velvet comes up to the table.
Velvet: Thank you so much!
Vergil: No problem but your a third year i know your strong if they hurt you again hurt them back don't let them pull your cute ears.
Velvet nods while blushing and walks away but then i feel a dangerous aura like im about to die i look down and see ruby smiling at me but that smile is not a nice one.
Yang: Way to go lady killer
Vergil: Wait what
Nora: Wow first ruby on your and making other girls blush i didn't know you were such a player V.
Vergil: Huh
Jaune: Teach me your ways.
Ruby had enough and elbowed my gut while speeding off somewhere everybody else laughed at my misery while i get up and chase after ruby.
Timeskip
Ruby is hugging me on a bench under a tree out side. It took an hour of apologizing a jar of cookies and me promising to give her another ride on my lotus for her to forgive me.
