What am I doing?
My brain seemed to go blank as soon as I registered the tender warmth against my lips, the gentle breaths brushing my skin, the fluttering in my chest. It was like we both froze in time for a moment, quite literally, because neither of us moved for a few seconds, the air around us as still as it was electrifying.
And as quickly as I leaned in, I pulled back, flustered and embarrassed.
I took in the stunned look on Robin's face, his mouth hanging open as he blinked at me in disbelief. Immediately, I felt the urge to apologise, quickly stepping away from him if only so I could breathe properly again.
"I-I'm sorry," I stammered, "I don't know what came over me..."
