Samantha gave him a puzzled look as soon as she heard his age. How was it possible for him to remain the age he was right now until the day he abdicated the throne? Her face mirrored her thoughts, and Alastair let out a smile on seeing her.

"Yes, Samantha. It is true. I will stay the way I am until I abdicate the throne. This is one of the many powers we have as Kings. As soon we are coronated the King and take over the throne, we stop aging. It has been sixteen years now since I stopped aging, and I will remain this way until my successor takes over the throne." Alastair explained patiently, allowing Samantha the time to understand how everything worked once the King took over his position on the throne.
