Kapitel 124: Brown head

He pushed the door open and saw that their cars were gone except that one familiar car with a girl leaning towards it with her arms crossed as she played with a pebble on the concrete parking area. Her brown curls covered much of her face as she stared blankly at the pebble beneath her foot that she was playing with. She seemed to be waiting for a long time. Suddenly her eyes caught up with those staring at hers and he shivered a bit. 

"Are you going to stand there and keep staring at me? '' Samantha asked as she swept her hair to the back of her ear so that she can see him better. 

" Why are you still here? "He asked in astonishment. 

She waited for a while and then said" I was waiting for you. "

"You didn't have to. " He said as he walked towards her with hesitant steps. 

"I wanted to. " She answered in a low whisper but Jake heard it. He did not want to ask her anything else so he just stayed there silently.
