Emily looked over her shoulder and noticed the commotion going on inside the mansion, it seemed like the wolves had picked on the fact that something had happened.

She hurriedly unlocked the car door and climbed into the driver's seat. As she started the car and pulled it out of the parking slot, she noticed Kaiden's figure running down the stairway through the huge glass window on the third floor.

She was pretty aware that he couldn't outrun him, especially if he decided to include the other wolves too. A mortal car was no match to these wolves. So she once again did what she shouldn't have, she called on her powers - a burst of energy that shook her body before it lashed out from her palm and created a powerful ward surrounding the mansion.
