Kapitel 284: The Magical Resort (Part Six)

Emily's eyes fluttered open when she heard something crashing loudly. She found herself laying on the couch in the living room while the area around her was a complete mess.

Her gaze landed on Kaiden who was standing at the entrance of the living room with his knuckles bleeding as he glared at something... or someone. She followed the direction of his gaze and a horrifying shriek escaped her lips.

"Shadow...!" 

She hurriedly stood up and ran towards Shadow who was lying on the floor near the ward standing between the open balcony and the living room but was immediately stopped by a pair of strong arms that pulled her away.

"You are not going anywhere, Angel. Stay away from him." Kaiden whispered next to her ear as he tightened his arms around her to stop her from running toward Shadow.
