Half an hour later, Lilia was ushered out of the emergency room first.

The woman closed her eyes tightly on the bed. Even with the subtle makeup on her cheeks, she still couldn't cover her swollen forehead and bloodstains.

Jean's heart tightened at once.

He stepped forward and stopped at the side of the hospital bed. He tried to touch her with his hand, but he stopped near her cheek. "How's her condition?"
