"Mummma…." Lily called Caroline, standing at the door while rubbing her eyes cutely.
Lucas didn't know what to say at that moment. So he just kept quiet and waited for Lily to address the person whom she was calling as her mother.
Although he had already understood by the way she was looking at Caroline that she was his daughter. But still he wanted to get an affirmation for his own mind's sake.
Lily too didn't disappoint him and ran towards Caroline the next moment and she too stretched her hands towards her daughter to carry her in her arms.
"Yes baby?" Caroline softly asked, forgetting everything which had taken place just few seconds ago.

I've read your complaints for not updating for a while. But I was going through some family problems which made me unable to write.
One of my maternal aunt & her husband had tested covid positive which was serious. Last Monday, uncle left us. So it was difficult for me to write anything as my family was going through a lot.
But now I'm back! So update will be regular.
