Kapitel 35: The Plan
How could Chenxiang and Lingling obtain the Beautiful Silk Tulip? That was all part of Haotian's plan.
Haotian could have made known the Yin and Yang Ice Fire Well by the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, giving the information about the whereabouts of it and use their backing to take the herbs from it. However, like in the case of allying with Spirit Hall, that would be giving them control of the Well to the clan and Haotian preferred to keep it for himself. That's why he planned I way to obtain the Beautiful Silk Tulip without their help.
First of all, he needed information about the Tulip. Even if Haotian remembered the name from the novel, he was unsure of its characteristics and form or how should it be harvested as unlike some other reincarnation, he lacked knowledge of heavenly plants of this world.
The answer for this was Xie Lingling. The Xie Clan was a clan heavily focus on plant spirit and they had recollected a great deal of information about it, including heavenly and mythical plants. Lingling had the Nine Heart Flowering Apple as her spirit, one of the rarest spirits, only being possible to exist 2 at the same time and considered a miracle and owner of the strongest healing ability. With it, she was considered the heir of the Xie Clan and had access to most information of the clan.
With Biyun's help, Haotian gained Lingling's cooperation, sharing her knowledge with them. However, as the payment, Lingling wanted to go to the Yin and Yang Ice Fire Well herself.
Haotian easily accepted Lingling's condition. It was normal for a plant spirit user like her to want to go there and bringing her to it would speed up his plan. In the end, she wanted to go there, not to know its location, so there wasn't much to lose as they could close her sight and disorientate her before reaching it.
It caused a possible danger of Lingling telling her clan about it and them acting against Haotian. But Haotian was mostly sure that it wouldn't be that case. First of all, even if he had little to no conversation with Lingling, Haotian trusted her, Biyun completely backing her.
Second, the Xie Clan was considered a support clan and quite a weak one. Unlike the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan that was able to build up strength and becoming one of the strongest clans on the continent, the Xie Clan didn't have that insight. The Xie Clan were far poorer than them and they had always been under other clans for protection, never being able to create any strength loyal to them.
Having obtained the knowledge, Haotian needed for Lingling to enter the Well. The first of all was to make sure that Dugu Bo hadn't done anything to the Well, like harvesting the herbs or putting some trap in it.
That's why Haotian wanted to meet Dugu Bo over the Well and finding if there's anything wrong with it. As a plus, he was even able to acquire an antidote from Dugu Bo.
It had been dangerous to meet with Dugu Bo over the Well without any backing of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan but Haotian was sure that even if Dugu Bo attacked him, he would never kill him before obtaining Yan's whereabouts.
In the case that Dugu Bo tried to capture him or had done something to the Well, Haotian was ready to put his life in danger, making his girls known about the situation due to their bond.
In that case, the girls would have acted. They would have canceled the plan and contacted the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, informing them about the Well's location. Then, the Titled Douluos would have attacked it. Haotian would have given the Well to the clan but it was better than being attacked.
In the end, having the Seven Treasure Clan's support was his hidden card. Luckily, Dugu Bo cooperated so there was no need for it.
Once Haotian was sure that Dugu Bo didn't try anything strange, he guided Dugu Bo over Yan's and Chen Xin's location.
Over that time, Chenxiang and Biyun took Lingling from the academy, knowing that Dugu Bo couldn't possibly be there and brought her to the Well.
Reaching the Well, the only problem left was to cross the poisonous formation. The girls lacked Haotian's body control but the power of their spirits was stronger than that of Haotian thanks to their spirit skills and like Haotian had discovered when crossing it over, it was possible to cross it with Biyun's and Chenxiang's cooperation.
Biyun's yin flames protected them from the strongest poisons while Chenxiang with her control over the wind and her 4th spirit skill pushed the poisonous mist away.
If they had found some problem, Haotian ordered them to withdraw instantly, letting the antidote given by Dugu Bo in a place for them to find, becoming another ace to cross the mist.
Once inside the Well, Lingling was fascinated by it, but nevertheless, she knew about the situation, quickly finding the Beautiful Silk Tulip and perfectly harvesting like explained in her clan's book.
With the herb in their power, the girls quickly left the place, going towards Yan's location and giving the herb to Haotian.

Haotian offered the Beautiful Silk Tulip to Fengzhi. It was a very beautiful tulip comparable to a jewel. With neatly combed wisteria drapes below the leaves and stalk. With a golden glazing tulip and a heavy tulip fragrance that gave a majestic and splendorous feeling.

"Are you saying that is uncapable of evolving my spirit?" Fengzhi asked a little worried.
"It's not like is uncapable. Like I said it had that possibility." Haotian explained "However, it would be more usuful and effective towards one growing spirit master. Your daughter for example will have a better chance to evolve her spirit, as it boost her spirit rank and strengthen her foundation."
Haotian's knowledge came from the novel so he knew that it would work on Rongrong. If it would work on Fengzhi, he didn't have any idea so it was better to not risk it.
"You are right" Fengzhi made a thoughful face 'Would that little rascal work hard if I gave it to her?' "Anyway, truly thank you, Haotian." Fengzhi smiled "This is proof enough that you fullfilled our promise. If you need anything don't ever doubt to ask me. And please, you are already part of our clan, stop the formalities, you can call me Fengzhi."
"Okay. Thanks, Fengzhi. I will take into account" Haotian nodded.
Fengzhi turned to Bone Douluo "Let's get going."
Gu Rong nodded, invoking a black hole. Fengzhi stepped forward, h turned towards Yan and waited for her.
Yan looked one last time towards Haotian "I'm truly sorry for everything" She said before stepped over the black hole, Fengzhi, Chen Xin and Gu Rong following after. Just as they stepped in, the black hole completely disappeared.
Finding finally alone with only Chenxiang and Lingling, Haotian fell to the ground over his ass with a tired look "It finally ended" He said with a light smile.
