Kapitel 65: It's Just One-Sided Love

"If that's what you want. Then, I'm going to blind date tomorrow." 

I bite my lips and strive to halt my tears from falling through my cheeks but I can't. I hear that he wants to go on a blind date and I can't believe that this setup is just an act. And I thought that we have the same feelings but no… It's just fake news. 

When he hangs up the phone, I panic and sprint to my spot so he doesn't suspect that I overheard their conversation or I leave my spot. But I infer that Chance also gets a call from her mother and it is about the blind date. 

I can't even believe that he accepts the offer. But I'm giving myself hope that he will like me. No, he confesses his feelings but I just want a proper confession from him. But it doesn't give me that option which hurts me. 

"Mia!"

My heart thumps and snaps into a reality when Christian calls out with an exhaust pant. And I believe that he runs just to get back and meet me at my spot.
