After Endeavor got home safely, Shido did the same as well. Eri was anxious when she saw Shido on the television fighting against the nomu with Endeavor.
Although she knew that Shido was powerful, it didn't stop her from worrying.
"I'm home!"
Shido teleported to his front door and shouted as he opened the door. Years of being in Japan have taught him so everyday routines that the Japanese do.
He didn't know his original nationality, but then again, he was a spirit. So having a nationality might be out of the question.
However, judging from his first name that he remembers ever so clearly, he was either born in Japan or had Japanese parents, or came from a place similar to Japan in customs and language.
Rasiel didn't give him any information for some reason, but he would know everything as long as he found his parents. Rasiel was definitely hiding something from him, and he knew it. But what he didn't know was why, how, and who did it.
Coming out of his thoughts, he braced himself for an impact, and after he called out, a shadow quickly darted towards him and hugged him in the waist.
"Shido! How was your day?"
"Normal. I just went straight home after walking Endeavor to the station, so nothing really happened."
Shido replied as he hugged Eri as well. After a few moments, they finally let go of each other and went to eat lunch together.
"What about Hosu city?"
"What about it?"
Eri looked at him with a weird look and said, "Didn't you declare that you would keep Hosu City safe?"
"Yep. My thousands of clones are out there around the city, preventing any crimes before they even start. Some are in the shadows, some are in the open, but all of them can use my shadow manipulation. So I would have no problems dealing with any villain unless a villain on par with All for One or All Might at his peak comes, then I would have to deal with it personally."
"I see..."
As they continued eating, they started chatting as well. Eri started to work at UA infirmary part-time now that she doesn't have any restrictions on her quirk. Of course, the students healed by her only know that she could 'reverse wounds' before they were injured and not reverse 'time' itself.
There was still a traitor roaming free in their midst after all. And Shido wanted to see what the person has planned for the school.
Although the person wasn't planning anything good, Shido chose to keep the person alive and roaming around for two very simple reasons. Number one, whatever the person prepared could never work when Shido is around. Who asked Shido to be too overpowered?
But just the number one reason doesn't fully justify why Shido took the risk to keep the person around. The more important reason was that whatever plans the person had would always benefit the students one way or another.
One example was the incident at USJ. If Shido didn't take the initiative to take down all the villains there, the students would have gotten the first-hand experience in dealing with villains. No amount of books and knowledge is more effective in dealing with villains than the first-hand experience.
Of course, as that was the first time, Shido just wanted to let them experience the atmosphere, so he quickly took them down.
The second time was the incident at Hosu City with hero killer Stain. Iida had the opportunity to face a top-class villain. Why did you think Iida knew where hero killer Stain would appear? Because of the news?
No. Someone had told Iida the exact details of when Stain would attack.
Shido knew that, and that was why he had a clone placed in Iida's shadows so that it would tell the main body when he's in trouble.
The third incident was during the training for their provisional hero licenses. More students had the opportunity to face villains this time around, and Shido only helped with the ones that were harder to deal with, such as Moonfish and Mr. Compressor.
Once again, the villains knew precisely when and how to attack from the inside information. Too bad Shido's information system was much more advanced than theirs. Thus their plan to kidnap Katsuki failed once more.
All these incidents were dangerous yet beneficial for his students' growth. Without actual battles against villains, they will never mature.
"Let's go on a date after lunch." Shido abruptly said.
"Huh?" Eri was surprised before quickly nodding her head, "Sure!'
It's been a long time since the two went out together, so Eri was looking forward to this date a lot.

The next week, everything went back to normal. Shido continued his job as an assistant teacher while his clones took care of Hosu City. He had accumulated hundreds of clones over the years of devouring gangs and villains, so he had no problem in keeping his word.
Although it was only for a week, the number of crime injuries had drastically reduced in Hosu City, and although it was too soon to tell, Hosu City was on its way to becoming the safest city in Japan.
After homeroom on Monday, Aizawa told Shido that he wanted to meet him during the break. Although curious, Shido nodded and agreed.
When the break came, Shido walked over to the agreed meeting spot and opened the door.
"Hello! Aizawa-sensei! Are you here?"
Shido looked around and saw that only one student was sitting on the couch. The student was all too familiar with him from the sports festival.
"Shiso-san! How have you been! I see that you've taken an internship under Aizawa-sensei!" Shido greeted the student, who turned his head to look at the visitor.
"Indeed, Itsuka-sensei." Shinso didn't say much and just greeted.
Shido wasn't discouraged by the silent student and continued talking while he waited for Aizawa.
Not long passed before the door slammed open once more.
"Good. Looks like both of you are here on time." Aizawa's monotonous voice rang.
"So what's up? Did principal mouse finally get tired from my constant reminders about Shinso here and finally agreed to transfer him to the hero department?"
Shinso was a little surprised by Shido's statement and let out a small smile while Aizawa's mouth twitched at the casual greeting.
"Sigh, yes. Today we'll have joint training with class 1-B," Aizawa said before turning to Shinso, "And he'll be joining us. The principal is asking us to observe you over some time before deciding on your class placement."
'Really?" Shinso's eyes lit up in excitement, "Thank you!"
"Don't need to thank us. Your performance will be the one to judge your future class."
As usual, Aizawa didn't care about his thanks and continued talking about various details. After the serious stuff was over, they left the room together, only to see Izuku and All Might.
"Oh, looks like you two are getting along as always." Aizawa instantly said the moment he laid eyes on the duo, who was chatting happily.
"Aizawa-kun! You've got it all wrong! He was being really pushy, so..." Toshinori was startled and immediately thought up an excuse.
"Stop acting like you just got caught having an affair. It's weird." Aizawa cut him off with his harsh remark while Izuku greeted Shinso.
Staring intently at Izuku, his eyes narrowed, and he instructed, "Midoriya, hurry and get suited up. We have a busy day today."

Walking together with Aizawa, Vlad King, and Shinso, Shido could already hear the noise made by both classes from a mile away.
"So noisy..." Aizawa grumbled under his breath while Shido repelled the sound waves with his own sound wave.
As they walked towards them, they saw Monoma gloating with some sort of paper in his hands.
"And today! A versus B!! Our first-ever joint training battle!! We're go-Gehh!"
Just as Monoma was about to continue talking, Aizawa appeared in front of them and wrapped his scarf around Monoma's neck, strangling him.
"Shut up."
Not waiting for any of the students to respond, Vlad King continued, "We're going to have a special guest this time."
"So don't do anything to embarrass yourselves," Shido stated, and the classes went into a frenzy.
"A guest?"
"I'll kick his ass!"
"Is it a girl?"
"Let's do our best together!!"
"He's trying to transfer into the hero department," Shido explained after their commotion went down. Shino walked out from behind Vlad King, and some people were surprised.
"It's Shinso Hitoshi-kun from the general department's class C." Shido introduced.
Some of the students comment on his mask, and he also has a Bindingcloth like Aizawa does, while another talked about Hitoshi's Brainwashing quirk and how Izuku managed to break free from its influence in their last fight.
"How about you give a short introduction?"
"I've already come across a number of you at the sports festival, but if we met in the field, don't think I'll treat you like friends. I'm not that kind of sportsmanship, feel-good type of person. I'm way too far behind for all that. Sorry, but I'm desperate. To become a great hero...I want to use my quirk to help people."
Both classes remained silent at Shinso's introduction as he continued talking.
"Everyone here...is just a hurdle that I have to overcome. I have no intentions of making friends here.
After the classes applauded for his speech, Aizawa said, "Alright then, shall we get started?"
"It's time for the practice match!! This time it'll be a battle between class A and class B! The stage for the competition will be this corner of ground Gamma. Both classes will be organized into five teams each, and the teams will fight each other one at a time!"
One of class B's students asked about the odd number of students now that Shinso was included inside.
"Shinso is going to join in for two battles. One as part of the Class B team and one as part of the Class A team. So, in other words, of the five battles, two of them will be five-on-four." Shido explained.
However, Toru thought it wasn't fair for the people on the 4-man team.
"Having five people on the team gives you a numbers advantage, but it's also a handicap," Shido explained but didn't give out more details. It was up to the students to find out what he meant by 'handicap'.
"Today's scenario is surrounding and immobilizing villain groups. Each team should consider their opponent team to be 'villains', and the first team to capture four members of the other team will be the winner."
Vlad King continued to explain more about the rules, but Shido's attention was shifted to the reinforced holding cell at each team's home base.
Far from being menacing, it looked pretty welcoming, to be honest. The cage had two metallic hands coming out from either side, and Nezu's head printed on the top of the cell with the word 'welcome!!'.
If it wasn't for the bars, it would have looked like any other ordinary room.
"'Four people have to be captured...' Is that what you meant by a handicap?" Katsuki asked.
"You figured it out! Teams will also have members not to combat. The team with five people will be considered to have lost once four of its members are captured." Shido turned his attention back to Katsuki and explained.
The teams were soon formed, and Shiso was to join group 1 from class A and team 5 from class B.
Though their coziness was different, both teams welcomed Shinso warmly.
While Aizawa continued instructing them about the rules, All Might and Midnight arrived.
"Who do you think will win?" Midnight asked as she took a seat next to Shido.
"Class A based on experience, but Class B based on data," Shido replied to her.
"Yes. Without having to deal with all the troubles that class A went through, class B has been able to steadily improve their power." All Might continued.
While the three teachers were talking leisurely, the first battle soon started.
