Kapitel 12: Jonah's new friend

I got up and saw the time. It was still eight but I don't want to sleep more so I got up from the bed and took a blue shirt and black jeans and went into the bathroom to change. After changing I headed towards the kitchen to have breakfast which would be prepared by Mrs. Garcia. She's in her mid-forty years. I sat on the Dining chair and Mrs. Garcia brought me Muffins. I served it on my plate and started eating while Mrs. Garcia was standing behind me after a while Mom called Mrs. Garcia from the hall and she walked towards her. I get a hold of my phone from the pocket and suddenly I remembered that I didn't inform them when to arrive at my house so I texted all of them to come during dinner hours including Scarlett about the celebration of the success in business. The big celebration will be in the Company itself. My parents know that I don't like that business party so they kept a small celebration in the house they told me last night when we were having dinner. I went to several business parties when I was young. After having breakfast I decided to go for a small walk so I got out of the house. I went to a park and sat down on a bench. I saw kids were playing in the park. I saw Corbyn and Joseph they were babysitting a boy. I went closer to them and when they both saw me they greeted me with a 'Hi' and I did the same.
"Are you guys babysitting him?" I asked them while gesturing towards the boy.
"Yes and this kid is very naughty" Joseph replied.
"Hi, kid me Jonah wright" I greeted him and he is eating a lollipop so he removed it from his mouth and greeted back.
"Hello, Mr. Wright. My name is Ken Castillo and I am five years old" he replied Castillo means he is relatives of joseph and Corbyn.
"Do you want more candies?" I asked and he nodded.
"No!" Joseph and Corbyn both shouted in unison.
"Why?" I tilted my head in confusion.
"He is restricted from chocolates?" Corbyn replied. I thought to see his cavity in his mouth. But when I saw his mouth he has white teeth. So I decided to ask them.
"Why?" I asked and when I asked they said no but he is already eating a lollipop.
"Because his parents decided to give him only one candy each day otherwise he may have a cavity" Corbyn replied.
"But eating two candy in one day nothing is going to ruin his teeth" I replied before continuing. "But still if their parents are restricted him to have another candy then I won't give him extra"
"But I thought you were giving me extra candy?" Ken asked me with a pout.
"That time I didn't know, but I can play with you" I replied and he nodded.
We played hide and seek, see-saw and he swings while I push him. After an hour I was tired and this is my first time playing with a kid. When we were playing Corbyn and Joseph wanted to enjoy their weekend so I said to them that I can play with him so they went somewhere and I don't know where they went and I don't have their number. Now Ken and I sat on the grass because I was tired while he was still energetic. I don't know when they will come so I decided to take him to my house.
"Would you like to come with me?" I asked and he nodded. We started walking to my house after few minutes we reached and when I saw Ariana's house I wanted to see her because I didn't see her from the morning and she didn't even reply to my message while others replied and maybe she would have Corbyn or Joseph phone no. Ken and I headed to her house.
"Is this your house?" Ken asked me while entering.
"No, it's my friend's house" I replied to him and he nodded his head.
"How many friends do you have?" He asked me when we entered.
"So many and you?" I replied and asked him because when he heard me saying so many he got sad and before he can answer Mr. Gonzales came out from the kitchen and I greeted him first and he did the same.
"Who is this cute boy?" Mr. Gonzales asked.
"He is my new friend" I replied and when I saw Ken face his face lit up.
"You are so cute little boy," Mr. Gonzales said to him and he blushed.
"I was making pancakes, if you guys don't mind sit for sometimes I will prepare for you both" Mr. Gonzales said and we nodded saying yes and then he went to the kitchen. We sat on the couch then I decided to ask him again because I didn't have an answer yet.
"How many friends do you have," I asked him while facing him...
"I made one friend just now that is you" he replied.
"Why you don't have friends before me?" I asked again in curiosity but when I asked again Ariana came out. I think to see who came to her house and she was wearing a sweat top and pants when she saw me she greeted me and I did the same.
"Who is this little cute kid," she asked with an adorable look.
"He is my little friend" I replied.
"Why do you came and interrupted us?" I asked in fake anger in my voice.
"This is my house I can go anywhere and interrupt anyone it's none of your business," she said with narrowing eyes.
"It's your house but you should have some courtesies and you should respect your guest?" I argued back.
"You are not my guest," She said while rolling her eyes.
"I thought friends don't fight" it was now Ken who spoke and we both stared him.
"Friends always fight" Ariana replied to him.
"I have a friend who always fights with me and makes me scared by showing some small insects so I ended our friendship," Ken said with a sad tone.
"What's your friend's name?" Ariana asked.
"Her name is Stella" Ken replied.
"If she scared you with insects then after breaking friendship did she stopped?" Ariana asked.
"Yes and I get bored now every day," he said sadly.
"Then tomorrow when you meet her apologize," Ariana said and she continued again.
"If you are afraid of small insects don't show her that you are scared then she won't scare you again" Ariana explained and he nodded. Then Mr. Gonzales came out of the kitchen and when he saw Ariana he seems to become angry and started to speak.
"I told you not to move from the bed. Why are you here?" he asked and I got confused because why he asking her to be in her bed. Is she not well? I asked to myself.
"I was getting bored" Ariana replied.
"You should think about getting wet and eating ice-cream," He said her in a Stern voice.
"Dad, I am fine now" she replied.
"What happened?" I asked.
"She got fever at 100°F and cold" he explained.
"Then you should take rest," I said to her and she got angry at me.
"I am fine now," she said.
"Let me check your temperature again?" he said and brought a thermometer from Ariana's room and gave her to checking after checking the temperature was normal.
"See guys the temperature is normal now let me sit here," she asked and her dad nodded and again went into the kitchen. I think he takes a lot of time in cooking.
"If you are at home all the time then you could have replied to my message?" I told her.
"What message?" she tilted her head in confusion. So cute. What the hell I am thinking? I shook my head from the thought.
"You can check your phone," I said to her.
"I am grounded for one weak so I won't get my phone" she explained and then Ken laughed loudly.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked him.
"She is so big but still she is grounded for one week that means I am a good boy because my parents don't give me any punishments" he laughed saying that and Ariana also laughed with him.
"Why did you got grounded? And why did your phone is taking away?" I asked.
"Because I forgot to charge my phone" she replied and I nodded.
"I told you about the celebration so come at dinner time," I said to her.
"I will come if dad gives me permission to go" she replied and I nodded my head. Then Mr. Gonzales came out again and kept pancakes on the table and we started eating.
"Ken, did you like my pancakes?" Mr. Gonzales asked.
"Yes, it's delicious" he replied, and when I remembered about Corbyn and Joseph.
"Ariana, did you have Corbyn or Joseph's phone number?" I asked.
"Yes, I have. Why?" she asked.
"Ken is their cousin" I replied and she nodded.
"Dad? My phone" she asked.
"Let me give him the number" he stood up and brought Ariana's phone and he handover to me. I saved their number in my phone and called them.
"Hello, I am in Ariana house you both can come and take Ken," I told them and hanged the call before they could speak. We decided to watch a TV show. After an hour someone came to the door so Mr. Gonzales stood up to see who must be? He opened the door and they were Joseph and Corbyn.
"Hi, Mr. Gonzales" they both greeted in unison.
"Hi, both of you. Come in" Mr. Gonzales invited them in.
"You must have told us that after playing you will come here because we were finding you everywhere and thought you kidnap Ken so we got more scared," Joseph said to me and we all laughed about the kidnapping thing.
"We played a lot so we got tired and I decided to come here thinking Ariana would have your number because I didn't have your phone number and you both could have come early to the park but both didn't show there and about kidnapping, you both think too much" I explained them.
"So, let's go Ken your mom is missing you," Corbyn said and Ken nodded.
"Today, I felt happy to meet you two. I enjoyed it a lot today and I want to meet you two again" he told with an exciting look making us all melt at his words.
"Even we have enjoyed with you Ken and I will meet you in the future" Ariana replied to him. We all said goodbye to each other and left her house.
