Kapitel 126: "Lia's New Ally is a Core Scientist"

Lia shook her head, "No. I'll just use my palm print."

"Alright. If you're going to see Dr. Logan, he's in," the guard said, and after she let him scan her palm print, she hurriedly ran inside the e-train.

When the e-train arrived at the platform at six twenty, she hurriedly went inside the main building. Luckily, the research facility never closes because some experiments require overnight work and some scientists prefer to work late at night to dawn.

Using the elevator, Lia went to the ninth floor where her grandfather's office was located. His grandfather's secretary was out because it was still too early and it was not yet her scheduled office hour, but the lights inside the room were on, as she saw the tinted glass door glow.

Without knocking, Lia opened the door. She saw her grandfather signing some documents on his table, and it seemed like he hadn't slept yet.
