Kapitel 78: "Young Love"

"Aesop… what did you say?" Lia asked. "I couldn't quite hear you…" 

Lia's eyes looked upwards, an indication that she's lying. Aesop already knew about the meaning of her gesture. 

Thinking that maybe Lia didn't feel the same way, he just teased her, "I said… You're cute, but you're deaf."

"Ae!" Lia called as she pinched the side of his stomach. "You're so annoying!"

And the two of them laughed and jokingly quarreled, unaware of their feelings for each other.

Meanwhile, Dr. Jaia was enjoying the sight of them as she used her binoculars.

"It's so nice to be young," she said, chuckling. She then gave the binoculars to Dr. Cytus, "Observe them."

Dr. Cytus peeked at the binoculars, and he saw Lia and Aesop laughing. It was the first time that Dr. Cytus had seen an uplifting scene like that - a human and a mutant who were enjoying each other's company.
