Su Jingyi let out a deep breath as she stepped out of the dressing room, wearing a white, strapless, tulle ball gown with a lace bodice that only accentuated her feminine figure.
"What do you think, Mom?" she asked as she checked her reflection in the mirror. Today was her wedding day and she hadn't gotten a good night's sleep out of excitement for today's events.
"Oh, dear," she heard her mother sniffing, trying to hold back her tears. "You look so pretty! Soon you are going to be a wife and have your own kids, and…" Her mother wailed, grabbing a tissue from the box near her. "Oh no, I've ruined my makeup."
Su Jingyi sighed and hugged her mother.
"Mom, you have to stop crying because you're going to make me cry too."
"Sorry, dear," her mother apologized, dabbing her tears with tissue. "I just couldn't believe my baby is finally getting married."
