Kapitel 4: The Ink Machine and the Monster

The four students took a minute out of their time to get set up on their side of obstacle coarse. "Jess, look at me." Shay demanded.

Jess looked at her creator as he gave his first command.

"Okay, you're going to the other side of the event center. Don't stop for anything. There will be two people trying to stop you. The only time you will come back to me is if I say the word 'Help'. Shay demanded as he gave his second command.

Jess didn't say anything as she walked off in the direction aimlessly. Shay grabbed her hand knowing they weren't given permission to start yet.

"Not yet. I'll tell you 'Go' when it's okay." Shay said while feeling his hand slowly getting sucked in Jess's hand. Quickly pulling away from her hand he began wiping his hand on his shirt to get the ink off.

At that moment the intercom announced, "Ready heroes?" Shay heard the teacher ask.

Shay remained silent.

"Ready Villains?"

"Ready." Shay said while glancing at Jess, ready to give her another command.

"Okay, begin. Whoever touches the bomb on the other side wins." The teacher stated.

"Okay, Jess look for a bomb and touch it." Shay said while standing his ground near their bomb they had to guard.

Without hesitation Jess began walking forward as she was determined to listen to her master's command, at least the main objective.

_____________

"What do you think the new students are like?" Bebe asked while glancing over at Craig as they were walking aimlessly around in search for the claimed 'villains'.

"Hell do I know. With us working together I don't see much of a fight." Craig said awfully confident due to his brute strength.

"Aren't you at all worried they have abilities we aren't ready for?" Bebe asked while getting slightly nervous.

Craig groaned out loud. "You know I'll forfeit just so I don't have to listen to your complaining, it's getting so annoying."

"Your telling me you aren't at all nervous to see what those two are capable of doing?" Bebe asked while looking around the hallway in search for anything moving.

"No, do you not realize how fucking strong I am? I'll fucking destroy anything that I come into contact with." Craig said still being extremely cocky about his incredible ability.

Suddenly Bebe held her hand out stopping Craig in his tracks. "I hear something off in the distance."

"Is it one of the new students?" Craig asked while glancing at Bebe.

"Let me check." She said while grabbing her grimware (Spell book). "Soul finder." She said while reading her book as a certain page flipped without her manually flipping it. She looked around with red vision coming in her sight. "Wait, I swear I can hear footsteps coming up ahead."

"Yeah, what's the problem?" Craig asked while raising his eyebrow.

"I don't see a soul." She said with a shaky tone in her voice.

Craig didn't show he was fazed as he assumed this so called villain was somehow covering up their appearance. "Maybe their an assassin." He stated while he suddenly heard footsteps coming at their direction. At that moment they both stopped in mid step as they both see a figure walking toward them. Craig pulled of a cocky grin while cracking his knuckles. "It's the girl. I hope she doesn't think I'll go easy on her." He said while suddenly feeling a hand place on his shoulder.

"Don't hurt her Craig, let me step in first." Bebe said while looking down at her grimware. The pages began to flip as it stopped at a special spell. Looking up at the girl she tensed as she noticed as her appearance was slowly changing.

"Whoa, what the fuck is going on with her?" Craig asked while taken back on her new appearance slowly forming.

"I don't know but that won't stop me from keeping her from the bomb." Bebe said while looking down at the commanding word. While looking back at the mysterious woman she said the simple word, "Stop."

The girl didn't seem fazed as she only got closer to both 'heroes'. Bebe and Craig were left shocked and confused. "Uhh, why did that not work?" Craig asked while staring at the girl that didn't stop walking toward them.

"I don't know." Bebe said while looking back at her spell book. "Let me try a different one." While glancing at the pages as they quickly flipped through the back page she pointed to one of her more powerful spells. While looking up at the girl who had a blank expression and dead set eyes, Bebe commanded the word, "Sleep." Suddenly heavy energy was generated to the girl but she still didn't seem effected as she didn't stop for a second.

Both heroes looked at each other in more confusion and slight fear.

"Okay Craig, Your up." Bebe said while putting her grimware away.

Craig glanced at the girl who was much closer than before. Without hesitation he ran at the girl while charging his fist to punch her in the gut. When he got in range of her he gave it all he got in his punch knowing Bebe could heal this claimed 'villain.' However, the unexpected happened. Craig's heart sank to his stomach as his fist went inside her stomach. Craig felt his hand grow very cold and wet. Processing what was happening, he quickly tried pulling his fist out but he noticed it was stuck. Craig grew more frightened as he didn't understand what she truly was capable of. Without warning the strange woman grabbed Craig by the neck while hardening her hands. With her other hand she hardened it as well while putting her hand on Craig's stomach. Suddenly she formed sharp claws slowly forming from her finger tips ready to dig in.

"LET HIM GO!!"

The strange woman looked over at Bebe with no expression as she simply threw Craig with sudden strength into a brick wall. At that moment Bebe tensed as she saw a fist sized hole in this mysterious woman. 'What the fuck is she?' Bebe thought with fear consuming her body. The closer this girl came to Bebe, the more Bebe began to tremble as she was petrified. Bebe didn't understand why her spells didn't work in this girl. 'Does she not have a soul? That's impossible.' Bebe thought while backing up knowing she was defenseless. Without thinking Bebe sprinted in full speed to her partner who was badly injured. She quickly got out her grimware as she watched the pages flip. When the pages stopped she hold her hand on Craig's chest. "Heal," she said while closing her eyes as this was a power draining ability for her to use. The moment she heard a gasp from Craig she collapsed as she grew incredibly tired.

"Whoa, Bebe." Craig said in worry as he held her in his arms. Hearing footstep coming closer, Craig grit his teeth in anger as he glared at the girl staring at him with no emotion. "What the hell is wrong with you?! You're taking this too far!" Craig spat venom out of his mouth.

At that moment, the girl stuck her hand inside her open stomach. Craig was left dumbfounded as she pulled out a hardened ink blade. She looked down at Craig while holding the blade above her head.

'Shit!! This girl is a fucking psychopath!!' Craig thought as he quickly picked Bebe up bridal style while running for his life away from the monster who was out to kill them both. 'Is she an actual villain? Why is no one stopping this?' Craig ran in a room as he was eventually out of breath. Looking down at Bebe he realize she was unconscious. 'Shit.. I guess I got to get this out of the way. Fuck it I'm going to run to their bomb and get this over with. I don't know who that girl is but if this is an act for being a villain, she's going too extreme. I'll be back when I win this Bebe.' Craig thought while he set her down against the wall. Craig peeked out the door but didn't come across anything. 'I guess she left to go to our bomb, well in that case..' Craig didn't hesitate to run off to the villain's bomb. It didn't take him long to come across it. He stopped in mid step when he realized her partner was next to the bomb with a notebook out. Craig wasn't in the mood to find out what THIS guy could do. If it was anymore weird than what his partner could do, he wasn't interested.

"Ahh, I see your here to capture the bomb. I'm afraid I can't let you do that as my partner is only a few steps from your bomb. The moment she arms it. 'Boom.' The shorter boy said with a devilish grin while playing his act as the villain.

Craig was not amused by his poor acting as he actually grew more irritated. "Fuck off, Paper Boy and get out of my way so I can disarm the bomb and get this over with." Craig demanded while stepping forward.

"I don't think so pal. You think she was scary. You haven't seen what I can do." He said while pulling out a pen.

Craig stared at him in confusion but was not interested in seeing what he was capable of doing. Craig quickly charged at the short boy as he charged his full strength in his right arm as he took a powerful stomp to the ground for extra momentum. The second Craig was about to punch the boy, the brunette quickly signed one of his papers as suddenly he was shielded by a ink wall. Craig's fist collided into the wall as it was hardened. Craig groaned as he shook his hand in pain and frustration. "You fucking coward." Craig growled as he quickly went around the wall trying his best to punch the kid. However the boy kept pulling out pages and signing them as eventually he grew tired. This was Craig's opportunity to strike. The boy made another wall but not before Craig threw a powerful punch to his face. The brunette collapsed on the ground groaning in pain. Craig grew pissed as he hovered over the boy. The boy became scared as he spasitcally backed against the bomb. Craig was blinded by rage as he was already worked up.

Suddenly at the same time the intercom announced the villains won. The short boy screamed out in desperation for help. Out of no where Craig was caught off by a sudden black goop that appeared right between him and the boy. The room grew an eerie vibe as a girl crawled out of the ink while bending backwards. The moment she laid eyes on Craig, he felt as if his life was flashing before his eyes. He was down right petrified of this new appearance. Black and white figure with nothing inside her as her insides were showing nothing but ink. She was still half puddle half girl as her smile was awfully crocked with ink coming out of her mouth and eyes. Craig was completely frozen in place as his body was in complete shock. The ink filled woman walked up to Craig as if she would some how kill him right then and there. Craig backed up while feeling his knees nearly going numb as he was forcing his body to move. Craig realized he couldn't do anything as she was too overpowered and a monster at that. Even he feared her. Suddenly he heard something he wasn't expecting would work.

"Stop."

Craig looked back at the boy as he was still on the ground with his hand out. Craig tensed as he realized the girl actually stopped while glancing at the boy.

"Teach, can we get her back in the room with Happy please?" The brunette asked in desperation.

"Yes, I think that's for the best." They all heard of the intercom.

Craig heard groaning as he looking back seeing Bebe holding her head. "What happened?" She asked while looking sleeping.

Craig glanced back at the two new students as they were walking to the exit. "We got our asses kicked by the new students."
