Shizuka waved goodbye to his slightly older brother and proceeded to walk into the designated building. She noticed the two-stories building with cream-painted walls. The reddish ceramic roof with several broken shingles here and there, vines and wildlife growing out of each crack.
The house seemed abandoned at first glance. However, the more Shizuka thought about it, the whole village had houses like this one. Perhaps, that was just the style of architecture the village was going for?
Looking around before stepping into the building, she observed the kids running around with long Wirtails in their hands as they chased each other. Shizuka looked at those long violet plants they held with disgust, remembering the bad memory when she once played with them as well.
The older villagers were oddly doing their daily things before setting off. Shizuka guessed that they must be waiting for the class of 1-6 to finish whatever they needed to prepare.
