Kapitel 211: Into the Earth

"Did we..."

"... did it?" Fuyukiku continued Shiroyuubi's quiet query. They clamped their mouths close and their expressions brightened. That was until a thunder from behind scared the life out of them. A bolt of lightning followed soon right after, aiming for the spot behind Shiroyuubi.

The aimed fox shrieked like there was no tomorrow, clinging onto Fuyukiku for dear life. The winter fox yelped in surprise due to Shiroyuubi jumping at him and the sudden flash of lightning burning the ground where the red-eyed male previously stood.

Fuyukiku hastily stepped to the side and Shiroyuubi, once again, fell to the ground. His face was planted deep into it and a handful of grassy dirt stuffed his mouth. Of course, it would be disgusting to actually eat the dirt. Fuyukiku was just exaggerating what he saw in his mind.
