Kapitel 83: Chapter Eighty-two

♦Selena's POV♦

This time I knock and when I hear a strained and faint approval, I don't hesitate before I'm barging in.

"What's going... Oh my god." I whisper in horror, throwing my hand over my eyes.

"Why the fuck would you tell me to come in then?" I start to scold them. "I never knock."

It takes Neruda a while to answer me which is understandable but that didn't make the situation any better. "I-I... Ah! I knew it was you, you're the only person crazy enough to come pay us a visit."

I just watched curiously, mother is careful to make sure that we drank nutritious blood in the right way which meant either goblets or fancy wine glasses so I couldn't relate to the fact that Neruda is currently feeding Cyril and they both look so blissful.

Cyril is sitting on his legs while Neruda's back is propped on the headboard, the frequent feeding no doubt because he'll soon be gone for a while.
