Kapitel 208: GIVING PROOF

Leilani turned to Lexine and gave her a small reassuring smile. Lexine remembered the words that Desire had told her whilst in the academy. The thing she had to do was raise her head high even though she was terrified. That way, she would be able to ensure that no one would look down on her.

She gave her aunt a nod after which Leilani went to open the door.

On the other side of the door was a long table. The table was long, with close to a dozen chairs on it. Seated on those chairs were different people, both men and women.

However, there was one thing which stood out to Lexine among all of the people in the room. That was the color of their hair. Although the shades were different, they all had a mop of golden blonde hair.

Their colors were almost as vibrant as Leilani's hair which was the shiniest mane of blonde Lexine had ever seen. They were dressed in high class clothing, which was close to what Lexine and Leilani were wearing as well.
