Kapitel 191: SHE'S FINE

Using a dagger she had been carrying around, she pricked her thumb. Almost immediately, blood pooled at the tip of her thumb.

She put her thumb over Adrianna's forehead and let a drop of her blood drip onto the creature. Adrianna stopped struggling, and her screams stopped for a few seconds. Just as they were breathing a sigh of relief, she began to scream again.

This time, it was louder than before, and the strength she was using to try and break out of the bondage was fiercer than before.

Lexine shivered slightly at the sound. Quira, who immediately noticed the abnormality in Lexine, took her hand in her own and gave it a small squeeze. Lexine turned and gave her a small strained smile. "I'm okay." She whispered as if she was trying to convince herself of that fact.
