Kapitel 168: THE FIGHT

Taevlin placed his instrument back in his trunk and the melody sheets in his hand back into their case. From downstairs, he could hear shouts and something crashing He sighed and put a wall of water over his door with a flick of his wrist.

There was a frown on his face as he picked another file from inside his drawer. He unknowingly picked up a trinket from his drawer and it fell onto the floor when he placed the file on the tabletop.

He looked down at the trinket before picking it up. The chain was silver and the pendant at the end was shaped in a cylindrical rod shape that looked really easy to snap with a finger.

Once in his hands, he felt the energy signature that was inherent in him begin to get sucked out.

Taevlin dropped it in shock. He had not held the necklace in his hands for a long time, so he had only thought that the only way for it to get ones energy was to pour it into the necklace.
