Lexine arrived back at the house that evening utterly exhausted. The thought that she still had training with Meddy made her feel like steaming herself into a puddle of water.

She was tempted to go upstairs and hide away in her room. However, as if she had seen through her, Christana dragged them to the back of the yard.

It was true that Lexine was planning to run from Meddy. She picked up her wooden sword from the weapon rack. 'Even bending fucking hurts.' Lexine cursed.

She cursed at Deevine silently in her heart. If there was anyone the sylph should be jealous of it should be someone that Lord Taevlin liked, not her!

Her muscles screamed as she tried to keep up with the training that Meddy had planned out for her.
